Every issue of hot new lit magazine Hoarse is based on a different theme; past issues include “Houdini” and “Field Day.” And Hoarse celebrates each new issue with a fun, usually boozy release party on the same theme. (The “Houdini” party featured a stage magician; “Field Day” involved outdoor games.) The fifth issue includes work by some of Seattle’s up-and-comingest young writers on the theme “Professor,” and the party will take place in the cozy back room of the College Inn Pub.
