This year’s Capitol Hill Block Party will be one for the books thanks to tons of local rock and hiphop (Sandrider! Don’t Talk to the Cops! Absolute Monarchs! Fly Moon Royalty!) and an impressive array of national talent (Cloud Nothings! Grimes! Neko Case!). Aside from the music, this festival is also trying to make itself more neighborhood-friendly by featuring work from local visual artists and even free yoga. Yup, at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, you can stretch it out in the middle of the street with yoga instructor Gary Smith of Partman Parthorse. Weird!
