According to hot young Stranger intern Sherman Alexie’s column, South Lake Union is growing up. It looks like a real city, but it’s still lacking in warm, non-chic locations, which means South Lake Union needs more Wurst Places. With a selection of beers that you’d be happy to drown in and a rotating selection of delicious and exotic sausages (mac-n-cheese dogs! Sausages made of duck and pheasant and rattlesnake and rabbit and bacon!), you could lose an afternoon (or, hell, a week or two) in the warmest, most lived-in bar in our newest neighborhood. (The Wurst Place, 510 Westlake Ave N, 623-3548, 11 am–11 pm)
