Pique-nique and 'Henri-Georges Clouzout's Inferno'

The documentary is about Henri-Georges Clouzot's incomplete film Inferno. It was shot over three weeks in the summer of 1964 and concerns a man who can't stop believing that other, younger, and more muscular men are fucking his beautiful wife, Romy Schneider. During the screening of the documentary, which features lots of sexy scenes—Schneider's moist lips, marvelous curves, magnetic eyes—Cafe Presse will offer French foods (Parisian ham and Comté baguettes, Alsatian-style potato salad) that you can eat while watching all those hips and fondled nipples in the dark. (Northwest Film Forum, 1515 12th Ave, 329-2629, 7 and 9 pm, $9; meals $7–$14.50, order at www.nwfilmforum.org up to two hours before the show)

Baguettes are a wonderful thing, if made fresh from local ingredients.

The nipples are best covered in a light chocolate or rose' sauce, of course.
