A mostly faithful remake of Delmer Daves's 1957 classic, 3:10 to Yuma isn't a necessary film. But it sure is tasty. Beautiful, gripping, and impeccably cast (arch-villain Ben Foster could fry twin cigarette burns with his close-set eyes, and Russell Crowe aces his best role in forever), this is a Western that lives up to the capital W.
