You probably already know that the new Star Wars comes out this week, but did you know that there are a bunch of other chances this week to prove your Star Wars geek cred? Here's a list of all of them.

(If you don't have your tickets yet, go buy them now—and consider seeing it at the Pacific Science Center, just named one of the 7 best screens in the US to watch Star Wars by Wired.)

ALL WEEK
1. Star Wars Gingerbread Houses
Every year, Sheraton Seattle builds an amazing village of gingerbread houses and lets the public in for free. This year, they've outdone themselves with a Star Wars theme.

TUESDAY
2. Nerd Nite Seattle: Meow-llennium Falcon Edition
Learn more about the crazy cat lady stereotype (especially useful after the Seattle vs. Portland cat battle we've been having) from cultural geographer Will McKeithen, and hear Tomas Lafferriere's thoughts about the new Star Wars canon.

WEDNESDAY
3. Star Wars Soundtrack Live Performance
Cafe Racer is hosting this live, one-time-only performance of selections from the original trilogy soundtrack to raise supplies and funds for the homeless.

4. Map Theatre: Star Wars Trivia
Test your knowledge of the franchise with other like-minded geeks at Central Cinema.

THURSDAY
5. Star Wars Remixed: Shadow of the Darkside
Get a (maybe not entirely helpful) refresher on all six films, remixed into "one complete story of Anakin Skywalker's rise from a tortured slave boy and into the twisted cyborg known as Darth Vader."

FRIDAY
6. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Release Party
The University Book Store in Mill Creek will have a family-friendly evening featuring lightsaber-making for "Young Jedi" and a Star Wars Trivia Challenge for slightly older Jedi.

SATURDAY
7. Lightsaber Battle
It's Jedi vs. Sith in this gigantic all-ages lightsaber showdown. Celebrate the release of the new movie by getting in on the action and running around with glowing weapons.

BONUS: Poco Wine + Spirits will be serving themed cocktails on Saturday and Sunday.
