Green River Killer Gary Ridgway has been charged with a 49th murder:

“He takes responsibility for it,” attorney Mark Prothero said Monday morning.

Yeah sure, Ridgway brutally murdered dozens of young women, but at least he’s man enough to take personal responsibility for his actions. You gotta respect him for that.

Now if only Dave Reichert would follow suit and finally take responsibility for failing to capture Ridgway for 18 years….

  1. “You gotta respect him for that.”

No, you dont. You really dont have to. You can only wish him a slow and painful death.

I agree with you on Reichert, but Ridgway is a scumbag who is trying to get out of the death penalty. Fry him.

  2. Goldy,
I like you and I really appreciate personal responsibility, but blaming Dave Reichert for not capturing Gary Ridgeway is kinda mean.

  3. It’s possible to remind people that Reichert is a fraud without elevating Ridgway. Suggesting that a serial rapist and killer who evaded justice for so long is “man enough to take personal responsibility” is both obviously untrue and a disgusting attempt to make today’s headline into political hay.

    What a repulsive post.

  4. Really, Goldy? I’m no Reichert fan, but seriously…

I genuinely hope that revving sound I hear isn’t you in a leather jacket kissing Pinky Tuscadero on the start line.
