  12. You know, in real online newspapers, they have feature and news items embargoed to release during meeting times.

    Things like Block Party announcements on lineout, Intern reports on licking doorknobs at the Sorrento, and reviews of fishnet-stocking films at SIFF.

    Then they pre-time when they drop so it appears there are real people there, when actually the only people watching it are the intern and the coffee slave.

    This is why the Times drops a lot of stuff at 5pm – that’s their go-to-bed time for the print run, and when the stories post.

  20. My first reaction to that picture was that it was a row of urinals that had been covered up for some reason (maintenance?)
