The $20 car tab fee will not prevent a 17% cut. If you heard the director of Metro on the radio yesterday, he clarified that the $20 car tab fee plus spending down all of Metro’s reserves will prevent a 17% cut. No one from Metro will say how much the car tab fee alone saves.
