Right now at the QFC by our office, there’s a sample dome of ham-and-cheese sandwiches!

I, for one, welcome our new grocery overlords.

This is bigoted against vegetarians. Stop promoting bigotry, Dom.
White bread is horrible for you…you may as well give a blow job to someone with full blown AIDS and SWALLOW!!!!
They’re just jealous of the Ham and Cheese Thunderdome …
Two enter, none leave.
No waxpaper or tongs to grab the sandwiches? Those sandwiches are probably covered in crabs and hand herpes.
The trick is to reach through the stack and grab one from the bottom.
all the poo particles on those. yuck!
It’s like when Erica Barnett took the bottle from that free wine sample bin at QFC.
I’m with #4! Are you really gonna help yourself to mini-sandwiches that may have been handled by multiple who-knows-whos with who-knows-what? I’d have to be STARVING…like no food in a week starving.

@9 lingering pics or it didn’t happen
My lord, some of you people are bananas about germs. For what it’s worth, the nice deli man was stocking the Dome of Joy when I walked up and he handed me–with his gloved, totally sterile and freshly boiled hand–a lovely (and clean) little sammy. I know the next thing I say sounds crazy (I’m a daredevil), but I also each chips from bowls at parties and use water fountains.
@4/8, hard to see in the photo, but each ‘wichlet is equipped with its own frilly toothpick handle. Though they are more something on which to hang your rationalizations than a means to prevent THE NEXT GREAT URBAN EPIDEMIC!!!
It’s well known that cooties regularly hop up to 18″.
Goyishe naches.
that reminds me, I used a toothpick from the “trash” cup for a free sample today. whoops!
@13, from the 1962 comedy album “The First Family“:
The scene is a working lunch at the White House with a number of international leaders, and as an economy move President Kennedy is having everyone order sandwiches from the corner deli. President Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt has just unwisely ordered pastrami on white. Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion of Israel leans over:
@15: Pastrami is a strong and willful kind of beef. You just don’t pair it with a bread that can’t hold its own.
@15 This reminds me of the scene in “Annie Hall” where Diane Keaton orders a sandwich on white bread with mayonnaise.
You know those are bits of stale sandwich they aren’t allowed to sell.
