I had a roommate in college that would eat mustard sandwiches.
As far as budget food recommendations go, white bread is a terrible choice.
This sounds like an obscure insult I’m not cool enough to understand: “Eat a toast sandwich, asshat.”
Should I start investing in toast, like people who invested in Spam when the recession/depression started to hit? They made money, can I?
Displays a singular lack of creativity.

Invest in Cinnamon Sugar. Everyone loves cinnamon toast!
Am I the only one who eats plain toast now and again? Bread, butter, a little kosher salt – it’s yummy.
If you can only afford toast, you probably want to economizing by using margarine, not butter.
Yeah but what if you’re in a hurry?
Only if I can have a glass of water flavored water to go with it, please. Now that’s living! (if you’re a chef in solitary!)
@8, the original toast sandwich recipe shown predates the invention of margarine (hydrogenated oil), and butter doesn’t cost that much more anyway.

@8 @11 it must be nice to be in the 1% and toasters and knives and all that. “oh, should I have butter or margarine today…”
