Welcome to the sound, Salmon Bay FC! Ballard FC’s new sister team kicks off their inaugural season with a home opener against the Tacoma Galaxy on May 30. The women’s soccer team’s owners include Seattle Reign FC players Lauren Barnes, Olivia Van der Jagt, and Jess Fishlock, Seattle Storm co-owner and former Olympian Ginny Gilder, Rough & Tumble Pub owner Jen Barnes, and Kirkland local and NWSL player Sam Hiatt.
