The maintenance/repair/renovation of this steep escalator (it runs down to the Pioneer Square Station) has been going on for as long as I can remember.

As I’m certain there is a good reason behind the striking slowness of this particular operation, I’m certain there is no good reason why the escalator at Harvard Market almost never works.
