Here in The Stranger news barn, we spend most of the day watching videos of Sam Bellomio, the stand-up American running for Seattle City Council against Mike O’Brien, even though we’re not exactly his target constituency. I suppose we should have assumed this all along, that he speaks to “we Republicans,” but given the tyranny of King County’s one-party rule—and The Stranger‘s obvious role in stacking the deck with tax-stealing Democrats—I guess we never considered that a Seattle City Council candidate wasn’t a commie.
