I’ve been having a lot of sex on my phone lately. Earlier this year, I moved from Seattle to a Monsanto bean field called Warrensburg, Missouri, for a college teaching job. I was glad to have the job—glad to have any job after getting a master’s degree in poetry—but romantic options within a 40-mile radius were limited. My main options were to have sex with my students or to have sex with my former students.
