It looks like we’ll be getting some rain this weekend, so duck inside for cheap and easy events from ACES // Artists of Color Expo & Symposium to Turkfest and from Books & Bottles: Lost The Plot Pop-Up & Community Book Swap to The I’m Coming Out Comedy Show. FRIDAY

PERFORMANCE

Kenyon Hall Presents: Kenyon Hall Cabaret Halloween Special
Every second Friday, drag queen Jizzuhbell Johnson and her chosen family take over Kenyon Hall for an all-ages cabaret packed with song, dance, games, and general fabulousness. This month, they’re getting extra theatrical for Halloween with a brand-new scripted show, complete with handmade costumes, choreographed steps, and some festively frightening surprises. Costumes are strongly encouraged (yes, there will be a contest), and while Kenyon Hall itself remains dry, 21+ attendees can join Johnson for a pre-show cocktail hour next door at Locöl Kitchen & Bar from 5–6 pm, where you can also pre-order a drink for intermission.
