Remember when the Blow—gorgeous melodies sung by Khaela
Maricich over recorded beats and bleeps
—performed at the
Genius Awards party at the library in September, and all those people
in suits and ties and evening gowns were dancing and sweating and
screaming
for more, and some poor guy had to come out and tell
everyone the show was over, and the crowd revolted, and someone said he
was going to go home and put on “Fists Up,” because the Blow hadn’t
performed it, and everyone cheered? Dear Khaela, can you do “Fists
Up” this time?
Please? (The Triple Door, 216 Union St, 838-4333.
