The Stranger’s Inaugural Ball promises to be a morning worthy of skipping work! Sex advice columnist, author, media pundit, journalist and The Stranger’s editorial director Dan Savage will provide commentary on live inauguration coverage, broadcasting on our 16 x 9 foot screen.
For an extra $18 ($24 day of), purchase brunch—a buffet complete with both continental and Dim Sum selections. And of course, bloody marys, mimosas and a full cash bar will be available.

The Washington Bus is throwing a pre-inauguration celebration on Sunday, the 18th with our friends at Snowboard Connection, Spacecraft Clothing, Upper Playground and Caffe Vita. It’s called the Obama Inauguration Bunny Ball, and it’s all going down at Havana.
There’s going to be live art, giveaways from Sno Con, Spacecraft and the Bus, and a dance party with DJs Sean Cee and Sabzi all night long. Oh yeah, and it’s free!
What will I be doing on Jan 20? Hoping I get an interview, and hoping my unemployment doesn’t run out. Happy 2009!
