Slow news day, SLOG?
Half the top 10 posts are about the evils of foie gras. Nothing can rally together Slog commenters like a terrible evil that everyone agrees should be banned. Yay!
So, apparently, the staff over there is getting a bit tired of Savage’s rants lately too?
Crap. Now we’re gonna have to read through an “et tu, co-workers?” post, aren’t we? Andy Rooney won’t ever die, he’ll just transfer his energy to ole D.S.
Somebody screencap the page quick, otherwise future generations will never believe it actually happened.
I’ll admit, I stopped reading the foie gras posts after a while, because they became somewhat tedious, but from the ones I read I didn’t see any sort of consensus about foie gras being a terrible evil that should be banned.
Did I miss a change of heart by other Slog readers? It’s so rare that one side changes the other’s mind that if that happened it would indeed be an event worth noting.
Too late already. Well, we’ll always have the memories.
