Who’d’a thunk it would be a kinda queerish wrestling thing that would depose Dan Savage from Most Commented? Congrats to one and all for resisting Savage hegemony.

  1. Half the top 10 posts are about the evils of foie gras. Nothing can rally together Slog commenters like a terrible evil that everyone agrees should be banned. Yay!

  2. So, apparently, the staff over there is getting a bit tired of Savage’s rants lately too?

Crap. Now we’re gonna have to read through an “et tu, co-workers?” post, aren’t we? Andy Rooney won’t ever die, he’ll just transfer his energy to ole D.S.

  3. I’ll admit, I stopped reading the foie gras posts after a while, because they became somewhat tedious, but from the ones I read I didn’t see any sort of consensus about foie gras being a terrible evil that should be banned.

Did I miss a change of heart by other Slog readers? It’s so rare that one side changes the other’s mind that if that happened it would indeed be an event worth noting.

  4. @7 You didn’t miss anything PopTart, except some ridiculous bore going on and on about abortion and how it has something to do with foie gras.
