  1. I really think that Catholicism, under Pope Nazipant’s leadership is priming itself for another split. The majority of Catholics are not nearly as conservative as the Holocaust-denying leadership would have the world believe. Check out these guys:

Are they going to stick around and let a bunch of archaic dinosaurs tell them what’s right? I doubt it.

And if there is a split, it’ll totally be Pope Nazipants’ fault, which is pretty funny. Way to lead the Church super shittily, guy.

Anywayz, @1- lots of people care. Get a job, punk.

(btw, Dan – you super stole Pope Nazipants from me, but it’s OK cuz I love you)

  2. I dunno how good on the Pope it is, Balt-O-Malt. He’s only playing politics now. The fact is that the Society of St. Pius X, to which said Holocaust-denying bishop belongs, is well known not only for its opposition to Vatican II, but for its anti-semitism. AKA, there’s really no way Pope Nazipants couldn’t have known that Bishop Actually-A-Nazi was actually kind of a Nazi.

So now he’s pretty much just covering his ass. What a douche.

    Perhaps I should elaborate:

    nobody cares but you, Dan;

    and your fawning brainless
    ditto-head groupies
    who share your
    hatred of and bigotry against
    Christanity.

  4. @8 in that case, I guess I’m bigoted against myself. See, cuz I’m Christian. Catholic, actually, though I don’t at all feel the Catholic Church accurately represents my personal morality OR the morality of Jesus Christ at the moment…

Also, I really don’t think it’s bigoted to say things that are true, such as “Holocaust-denying bishop admits to being sorry, but not to being wrong.” That’s a real thing, dude. It’s not like Dan got up there and said, oh I dunno… “Religious people shouldn’t have the right to marry. It is an abomination.” That would be way more bigoted.

    Just sayin’.

  5. I guess someone has to explain this again to Dan.
    Bash the Pope, fine.
But please be respectful of actual history. Just about every kid in Germany the 30’s was forced to part of Hitler’s youth – so to surreptitiously label him as having a Nazi past in not only inaccurate – it is disrespectful of the true victims of that era.

  6. @12, did you just imply the German youth who had to join Hitler’s boy scouts are the “true victims of that era?”*

funny, i always thought they were the jews.

*that may not be what you meant, but it is the clearest reading of your words as written.

  7. @8

    Abusing your
    return key
    does not make you
    more right or
    more poetic.

    It just makes you
    seem kind of
    mentally unstable.

    Personally, when
    a body as large as
    the Catholic church
    admits deniers of
    one of the
    most significant events
    of the twentieth century,
    I do care,
    and no fag
    will change that
    one way
    or the other.

  8. @20 ftw

(also, my sister is really return-happy in every method of internet communication in which she participates, and it’s super annoying. srsly)

  9. Holocaust deniers catch Hell on slog because your top Nazis were homosexuals and the local queers hate to see them cheated of due credit.

  10. The Catholic Church catches Hell on slog because Dan punked out of it and his life’s mission is to prove that they are wrong.

  11. @24: Only one of “your” top Nazis was gay; the rest were all straight. Hey, that must mean all straight people are suspect, right?

  12. Fucking Ratzinger is going to set the Catholic Church back 200 years. I swear, I expect him to start the witch-burnings any day now. Worst decision the College of Cardinals has made in my lifetime, by far.
