Countdown’s amazingly double-entendre-laden piece on the AstroTurf “Tea Bag” anti-taxation movement happening tomorrow. It just goes on and on.

  1. Forgive me, I couldn’t stop laughing. For a month now I have been receiving emails from AFA with links to buy my offical “Tea-Bagging” gear. I wonder how many t-shirts and bummper stickers they have sold. Sorry, must stop laughing now and get some work done.

  2. it strikes me as passing strange that classic “teabagging” is perpetrated by straight males on their unconscious, inebriated straight male companions in the presence of other straight males who encourage the practice.

  3. he delivered it all with a straight face too, which is incredible. well i confess i only watched the 1st half but i am amazed he didn’t fall into a heap of laughter!! olbermann would have.

  4. Do Republicans lack the innate ability to google a term to make sure there aren’t any hidden, counter-culture meanings? More fodder for us…”full-throated”, “up close and personal taste”, “spontaneous uprising”!! Jesus, I love it.
And come, fucking on…If your name is Richard Armey, and you are conservative, why the hell would you choose the nickname “Dick”. I bet he has a secret gimp room where Barney Frank repeatedly drills him.

  5. Is there really any way to look at this “movement” other than Rupert Murdoch calling for demonstrations to protest Rupert Murdoch’s potential 3.6% tax increase? Almost all the people in the crowd at these protests will be getting a tax cut under the tyrannical tax regime they’re protesting.

They might as well be protesting the high price of private jets or Rolls Royces.

  6. i will personally pay christopher frizzelle $50 if he goes to the rally tomorrow at westlake park and teabags a straight republican male. wit no pants on. square biz, frizz.

  7. I loved how CNBC this morning pointed out that President Obama’s top tax rate is 10 percent LOWER than President Reagan’s top tax rate.

And that 95 percent of American citizens get a TAX CUT under President Obama.

Reality is laughing at the tea-baggers.

  8. How will Fremont ever top a group of Republicans tea bagging en masse in the park? A naked bike ride just can’t compete.

The new Republican slogan: “Out of the bathhouses and into the streets.”

What’s a liberal ‘mo to do?

  9. I wonder if any of these parties will be protesting the gay tax. Over $6,000 (again) this year. Thanks, America!

(For the uninitiated: those of us sole breadwinners in married families with two same-sex parents are required to file “head of household” instead of “married,” and as a consequence pay far more in taxes; we didn’t even get the tax rebate everyone else was entitled to last year–Turbo Tax quaintly asks “are you sure??” you didn’t get a rebate?! since it doesn’t have an “I’m a fag” box to check).

  10. it’s going down tomorrow at 5:45 p.m. in westlake park. frizz, i will be looking for you, clutching fiddy bux in my hot little hand. you can apply it toward bail.
