China is about to get an adult theme park…
The park manager, Lu Xiaoqing, who was inspired by South Korea’s popular sex theme park in Jeju, says that Love Land, due to open in October, will improve sex education and help adults enjoy a harmonious sex life. Inside, visitors will be able to view naked human sculptures, giant replicas of genitals and an exhibition about the history of sex and sexual practices in other countries.
The park will also offer sex technique workshops and advise on anti-Aids measures and using condoms properly.
“Sex is a taboo subject in China but people really need to have more access to information about it,” Lu told the state newspaper China Daily.

The name of that theme park made me think of Sondheim’s Follies.

@7 Where do you get that idea, Sargon? South Korea is a SUPERFUCKINGCHRISTIAN country. Five of the 10 biggest megachurches in the world are located there, including the single largest evangelical congregation on the planet. I’m actually kind of surprised they have an sex theme park there, to tell you the truth.

From the one hand I really loved the idea, and I’m dreaming to have a ride on the Vagin-a-Whirl and the Orgasma-Coaster. If there are any attractions, I just wonder what kind of prizes can I get there? Would it be sex toys?
From the other hand, how could I explain my children that I can’t take them to have fun with me in the love land?
