You Don’t See A Populist Mob Against This: Fed moving towards limiting executive pay for lenders, banks.
Just Being Contrary For The Hell Of It: Republicans rail against the president for shelving missile defense plan that doesn’t work, ignore the one that might.
It’s Fun When TV News Has Beef: Fox News runs ad claiming no one other network covered D.C. protests, every other network gets pissed.
Chances Are This Means Everyone Reading This: Census data points to high loss of income among young, middle aged.
I Think Bill Clinton Needs A Ticket To Iran: Ahmadinejad takes hard line against captured US hikers.
Kids Need Gun Rights Too, Greg: Mayor proposes banning guns in parks, state AG says no.
Maybe This Will Revive Porn’s Revenues: Home 3-D systems to be released in 2010.
“Values Voter” Is Codeword For Being A Dick: MSNBC gets heckled while covering Values Voter Summit, as was Fox News, only creepier.

I’m glad to see the back of the Star Wars fanatsy, but seriously: Aegis-class cruisers? One of those confused an Airbus 300 for an Iranian F-14, with disastrous results.
re: Values forum-
Nice to see Carrie is as yummy as ever.
Both reporters were yapping right next to people who were trying to hear the speakers, they WERE being rude- and, Mr Dickwad MSNBC, the lady didn’t care ‘what’ you were saying, don’t get all ‘persecution complex’, she just wanted you to shut the fuck up so she could hear.
re: executive pay
Why don’t you Liberal hipsters form your own mob?
Your butts are going to meld to the chair in front of your computer screen…
I notice the patriots on the right never complain about spending trillions of dollars we don’t have on weapons systems that don’t work. They also seem pretty much fine with the U.S. footing the bill for providing military protection to Europe and much of the rest of the world so those countries can spend their tax revenues on things like improving the lives of their citizens (Germany and France say thanks, by the way.) Weird, because the teabaggers seem so mad at Europe for providing single-payer health care for their citizens, and yet our defense dollars are essentially subsidizing it.
And since European companies don’t have to pay for their employees’ health care (single-payer, remember?) they also are operating at a substantial advantage over American companies, again largely thanks to us spending half of our tax dollars on protecting them and expecting nothing in return. And yet nary a peep from those freedom-loving, founding-fathers-quoting, tea-bagging America-lovers. Curious.
So maybe it’s not fiscal responsibility that motivates their attacks on social spending at all?
it never ceases to amuse when the hipsters complain because the angry right isn’t protesting THEIR pet peeves…
why don’t they protest the MILITARY?
why don’t pro-lifers ADOPT all those babies?
why aren’t outraged over EXECUTIVE PAY?
obviously the reason the right doesn’t do these things is because they are racist homophobic bigoted hate filled assholes.
@5: Don’t forget morons.
Poor Values Voters, their medicare-funded hearing aids and Jazzy scooters can’t help them hear the speakers when reporters are talking so loud all over the place. ๐
Did Mark “Hiking the Appalachian Trail” Sanford speak about “saving” traditional marriage? How about David “I like whores” Vitter? Ensign?
How about how Ronald Reagan left the country deep in debt? Or how both Bushs left the country deep in debt? No? Liars and hypocrites!!!!
Still no reports that Obama is targeting the 11 key US senators, having them over, twisting arms, cajoling, threatening, etc. No reports that he’s building up the political will to force a filibuster. No reports he’s working on the ground politics in Maine and Missouri and Montana. No reports he’s teaching us who’s paying the pockets of all these fake reformers, who’s hijacking our health care reform for their own greedy profits.
But he is going on five national news shows today.
I guess his goal is to raise the generic % of Americans who want change from 77% to 82%.
Perhaps he doesn’t know laws are made via the Senate and not thru national plebiscites?
If this reporter was worth his salt, he would have immediately turned this spot into an interview of the creep, or better yet, go all medieval.

Channel surfing tonight I ran across my first Seattle Sounders game, broadcast on Fox en espaรฑol. Beautiful that we have this, all that, beautiful, beautiful; but it’s like watching Buckaroo Banzai pretend to play musical instruments.
@10: That’s a reporter? That seemed more like a Reeperbahn, er, denizen. The suit, the style, the strut, the “I know everyone here,” tales of old rent deals, on a street like that.
Auf der Reeperbahn nachts um halb eins
Ob du’n Mรคdel hast oder auch keins
Amรผsierst du dich
Denn das findet sich
Auf der Reeperbahn nachts um halb eins.
