Or aggressive aggressive?

Whichever it is, it’s clearly not an effective note. I found it on 4th Ave., downtown, near the front door of an apartment building and… there’s dog shit everywhere. Around the tree, on the ground, all over the sidewalk. And it’s all right in front of the entrance to this particular apartment building. Lazy dog owner who doesn’t want to walk more than four steps out of the front door? Or is some evil genius dog owner waging psychological warfare on someone who lives in this building? Whichever it is, I fully expect that this conflict to end with shots fired, a dead dog owner, and more missing apostrophes.

I had a neighbor who used to let his dog crap in my front yard. I really liked the dog. Hated the neighbor. So I left a note on the back of an old yard sign letting the dog owner know that all dog crap would be removed and returned to the owner. Problem solved and there was no need to punish the dog, which is never OK.
Oh – and by the way – I don’t give a shit if it was “passive agressive” to leave a note. It was the most convienet way to deal with it, it worked well for me and my other neighbors were amused.
