Constanza Macras | DorkyPark: Studio 44.

The Studio 44 is a symbiosis of artistic administration; rehearsal, production and meeting space as well as a venue for readings, residencies, workshop and performances. Two years ago these rooms where full of the instruments from the former East Berlin telecommunications office and today different artists meet here to create new projects, to discuss and to present their work. ON August 28th, 9pm Constanza Macras and her Team DorkyPark invite you to the Opening Event of the Studio 44 and perform a SPIN-OFF of all the highlights out of the artistic repertoire of DorkyPark including pieces from BACK TO THE PRESENT and MEGALOPOLIS. Brend an Kiley has worked as a child actor in New Orleans, as a member of the junior press corps at the 1988 Republican National Convention, and, for one happy April, as a bootlegger’s assistant in Nicaragua....

  1. I live in Berlin, but I will be in the states from tomorrow till the 19th of September….too bad. Should you ever need a Berlin correspondent again, I will happily volunteer.

  4. I got to see them do BACK TO THE PRESENT when they hit ON THE BOARDS a few years back and it was by far the most impressive/shocking/amazing performance Id ever seen. Even emailed this one woman who was in it (Jill) and she actually replied~!

  6. Thanks for the tip Kiley! I played at K44 (as its known on the street) in December. Another lovely abandoned building turned artists refuge. I’ll try to check out the show and report on the findings.
