This Saturday and Sunday, your new best friend might just be waiting for you in Bellevue at Seattle Humane’s Catapalooza, along with some fabulous feline-themed fun. Proceeds from the event will go towards services for the animals that Seattle Humane serves, including its Life-Saver Rescue Program. Rock, Paper, and Scissors’s viral story is worth a read—after being rescued in Yakima and nursed back to health by Seattle Humane (Rock and Paper had to have both eyes removed due to severe upper respiratory infections, and Scissors got to keep one healthy eye), the trio were eventually adopted after being featured on the Oskar the Blind Cat & Klaus Facebook page.

For some aww-inducing moments, get some whiskers on at the event’s featured face-painting, or paw together some kitty-themed crafts with some feline-loving friends. The shelter also invites the public to walk through their facilities for an inside look at how the shelter’s housed cats and kittens are supported during their wait for a furr-ever home.

One of those kitties is none other than this sweetheart named Bunnie: according to her bio, Bunnie is “a 7-year-old purring machine with a coat of calico markings... She plays coy at first but with sweet talk she becomes a bona fide snuggler.” With a line that smooth, I’d easily find myself staring into those round yellow eyes for hours—this girl’s got a ridiculously adorable thousand-yard-stare on that little round head.

If you can’t make it out to Catapalooza this weekend, there are plenty of adoptable cats and kittens in need of a loving home.
