Apparently, from afar, my ophidiophobic colleague was frightened by the above “snake” found at the perimeter of Cal Anderson Park. This was following an experience on Sunday when this particular colleague was out hiking and saw a snake and—frighteningly—almost stepped on it. “I crawled up my girlfriend like a ladder when I almost stepped on it.”
