UPDATE: People are furious.
UPDATE: Power delegated to VP. Crowds waving shoes at Mubarak.
UPDATE: “I will not separate from this soil until I am buried underneath.”
It’s still ongoing, but the only “news” so far is that he has formed committees. Committees. To do the things he has already said he will do.
Oh, also he addressed the people “as father to his children.”
UPDATE: Six articles of the constitution to be amended. Now “I have been a youth just like you,” while the crowd chants I’m not sure what.

Ya so far this is garbage…
Denial IS a river in Egypt.
“I will not separate from this soil until I am buried underneath.”
The people of Egypt should facilitate the the circumstances by which he says he will be separated from his soil.
One of Al Jazeera’s reporters Twitter read something like:
Mubarak: “Blah blah blah…”
Yeah, Egyptians are unimpressed.
what a shame … what an opportunity missed for Mubarak and the Eqyptian people
Cairo is burning.
Tunisia’s President/Dictator tried that too.
Didn’t work. He was out days later.
“I will not separate from this soil until I am buried underneath.”
Careful what you ask for there…
I’ve seen a couple of priceless quotes so far today:
“Where the hell is Kanye when you need him?”
and
“Uninstalling dictator: 99% complete.”
Wait, the best-case scenario is Suleiman taking over? Isn’t that arguably worse?
Does anyone else picture Saruman every time you hear or read Suleiman?
From what I’ve read about the guy its kind of fitting. Except he was never good.
