Dan, this might be for It Gets Better, but you're still Dan Savage. No one would expect a serious Oscar speech from a comedian who happened to win for a dramatic role. Go ahead and say something appropriately Santorum-level; not only will it be accepted, but it's what people will both expect and want.

Also, I agree with the people saying leave out the 34 joke, unless you expect that everyone in the crowd reads your blog.
