Ugh, my younger self is green with envy over how little provocation it takes for Seattle schools to close for inclement weather. I have actually driven myself to school during a blizzard because they refused to close (despite the fact we had 3 or 4 days allotted for snow every year), while hearing the radio telling me that people shouldn’t go to work unless absolutely necessary.
Come to think of it, I have to wonder why my parents didn’t insist I just stay home either way…
