The first thing you need to know today is that the triceratops debate rages on! Further evidence suggests that Torosaurus and Nedoceratops are in fact stages of Triceratops development. Who will win?!
Next, you need to know about osteoderms:
A Macalester professor and her colleagues have found that Madagascar dinosaurs carried giant, hollow bones in their skin that may have helped them survive the harsh environments they inhabited. This discovery has shed new light on the anatomy and function of these bones in the biggest animals to ever walk on land.
More about osteoderms here, here and here!
Lastly, rock-star paleontologist Jack Horner has married an undergraduate at Montana State University.

He’s 65, she’s 19.
Calls for a little of this: http://www.bestweekever.tv/2011-08-29/th…
Thank you Mary.
Nerds in love! Sweet.
Nerdiness is ageless. Best wishes to the oddish couple.
The best news about the 19 year old marrying Jack Horner is that she states there will be a Jurassic Park 5.
Where better for such a wedding than the Bellagio! Perfect.
And how I loved the first comment on that Jezebel post!
I like the name Bozeman Magpie
I’m glade the young girl and Jack are not in the relationship just for the celebrity status unlike so many other young/old couples.
At least she married an older man who’s an expert in something instead of just another actor. Still creepy, but not quite Courtney Stodden material.
And now the SLOG prejudice and hypocrisy begin.
