Hey, Portland's trying to drain our state and city treasuries of the regressive sales tax money that for better or worse we rely on to provide services!
It's unlawful to buy merchandise in Portland and bring it back to WA without paying "use" tax on it (use taxes are equivalent to sales taxes, but not levied at the point of sale obviously).
These posters, installed on public agency property, are inviting and supporting unlawful behavior. I'm surprised that Sound Transit would approve their installation.
Good Afternoon Charles,
That's a pretty cool promo poster. I like the art and that it is placed inside a Seattle transit station. Maybe Seattle has a promo poster in one of Portland's light rail transit stations?
@10: In fact, several MAX light rail trains in Portland are wrapped with ads for a two-day sojourn to Seattle. I'm surprised Mudede hasn't commented on the need of the collapsing decadent neoliberal system to fuel dislocation anxiety among its proximate residents.
Those artisanally bedecked bastards.

Also, what @8 said

Nice touch.
