Iowa Republican Jodi Ernst gets right to business in her campaign ad: The senatorial candidate introduces herself and then says, “I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm. So in Washington, I’ll know how to cut pork.” She closes the ad by promising to “Make [big government spenders] squeal,” followed by a squealing pig noise. It certainly is a memorable political ad:

That has to be the most awesome campaign ad in the history of advertising! I want to vote for her RIGHT NOW! (Despite living in a different state)
It’s a slick ad—Palin-y enough to get Republicans to fan their faces and shift in their seats a little bit, loaded with keywords like “Obamacare” and “balance the budget,” and a three-word biography (“MOTHER SOLDIER CONSERVATIVE”) that will have elderly voters saluting the flag and weeping within eight syllables. If she can give a speech, Ernst might have a long career ahead of her.
