VALENTINE’S DAY AT CINERAMA
Sat Feb 14 starting at 11 am at Cinerama
Lovers of classic cinema have three special screenings to choose from at the Cinerama this Valentine’s Day. At 11 am, it’s the interminable antebellum firestorm Gone with the Wind, at 4:15 pm Marlon Brando tries to sing in Guys and Dolls, and at 8 pm straight men dress like ladies in Some Like it Hot. All films will be presented digitally, with that fancy new laser projector.

- Bid on these hotties for a good cause.
DREAMBOATS! A VALENTINE’S DAY SOIREE AND MAN AUCTION
Sat Feb 14 at 7 pm at High Dive
Don’t have a man for Valentine’s Day? Simply bid on one, and rest assured that the proceeds from your purchase (rental?) will go towards Northwest Helpline. Ten of Seattle’s “dreamiest” musicians will play acoustic sets of the loveliest of love songs, then be auctioned off to the audience for private concerts or one-on-one lessons. There will also be a kissing booth, for the low rollers.

- There’s nothing sexier than not being able to see.
DINING IN THE DARK
Sat Feb 14, 6:30โ10 pm at Secret Location
An intriguing dinner, offered by Seattle pop-up the Pretty Fork, ushers you and your date through a “6-course journey through smell, taste, sound, and texture” to be served “in complete pitch-black darkness” at an undisclosed location downtown near Pike Place Market.

- Love (and shots) is in the air.
VALENTINE’S AT LINDA’S TAVERN
Sat Feb 14 at Linda’s Tavern
They’re doing shot-o-grams! Basically attach a Valentine to a drink and send it to your honey from across the bar, and “DJ Vi will be spinning the smoothest singles this side of Snohomish county.”

- Kekuhi and Kaumakaiwa Kanakaโole will perform traditional music and dance following dinner.
HAWAIIAN MUSIC AND A SUCCULENT TRADITIONAL FEAST

This Valentine’s Day, Town Hall is hosting a night of Hawaiian food and music. This ticket includes an authentic Hawaiian feast prepared by the Kauai Family Restaurant, beer and sparkling wine, and admission to a performance of traditional music and dance by Kekuhi and Kaumakaiwa Kanakaโole, which follows the dinner directly.
