Tampa Bay Rays righty Alex Cobb, like many pitchers, suffered an injury that required surgery. He had a rib and a blood clot removed after suffering “pancreatitis”, which Goldy says dogs get sometimes.
OK, whatever, who cares sports zzzz…. except Cobb announced that he is going to keep the rib he had surgically removed in a jar in his locker.
“I’ve got the rib at my house,” Cobb said. “My dad asked me to keep it. It’s in a jar. It looks like a rib. It looks like you went to Chili’s and got a little baby rib and put it in a jar of liquid.”

Maybe he wants a constant reminder, always with him about how he can now blow himself with better efficiency.
