Unfortunately the curtain literally fell on Fiorina. No one was hurt. And as scary as this short video is, the ten minute video of Carly Fiorina picking up one of those iron rods and using it to beat the stagehand who set up the curtains—she beat the stagehand to death—is even scarier. I’m frankly surprised we’re still talking about Hillary’s emails or those bogus and debunked Planned Parenthood videos when we have video of Carly Fiorina committing a coldblooded murder with her bare hands.

A group of Planned Parenthood supporters ambushed a Carly Fiorina meet-and-greet on Saturday, forcing the Republican presidential candidate to retreat into a security-protected area. Wearing pink shirts and donning pom-poms, members of the group of around 15 to 20 people at one point threw condoms at Fiorina, who was greeting supporters at a tailgate party for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Chants of “Women are watching — and we vote!” and “Women’s rights are here to stay!” nearly drowned out the candidate’s voice as she attempted to answer supporters’ questions. Fiorina has been taking heat in recent weeks for her comments about Planned Parenthood during the second GOP debate, where she addressed sting videos that purport to show the organization improperly selling fetal body parts. At the debate, Fiorina said those videos show an aborted fetus kept alive to “harvest its brain.” Fact-checking websites, however, have countered that this is untrue.

Hey there, Mr. Savage, stagehand here. Those aren’t curtains that fell during Ms. Fiorina’s event. Those are what we in the stage business call “Pipe and Drape.” P&D are a bunch of sheets that are run along lengths of hollow, thin aluminum pipes, elevated upwards by other hollow and thin aluminum pipes, and primarily used to mask otherwise unsightly things that people like Fiorina traditionally turn their nose up at gazing upon.

The irony here is that the P&D is often put up by ill-compensated, non union laborers, and many times those same laborers work parallel to myself and my brothers and sisters in unionzed stagework during tradeshow and corporate/political gigs. I’m guessing that P&D in Texas was put together by a non-union crew, because it looks like they forgot the first rule of P&D: anchor your base and test stability. Didn’t look very stable to my eye.
