Police trying to piece together what happened to 21-year-old Nicole Westbrook, who was shot in the neck early Sunday morning at Second and Yesler and is still in critical condition at Harborview, have posted a surveillance video of the shooting, along with video from an emotional press conference with family members earlier today.

All of it is on SPD Blotter.

As many people as possible should watch the video in order to help, but I do want to warn you that it’s confusing, and the part that is blurred out is Westbrook herself falling. (I tell you that because if you watch it enough times you will come to realize this on your own, and I just want to warn you not to watch it if you don’t want to.)

Anyone with any tips should contact SPD’s violent crimes hotline at 206-233-5000.
