It’s dead:

According to a Value Village employee I spoke with… the flower garden was planted by the store’s new manager, who was both unfamiliar with the neighborhood and unswayed by her staffers. “We told her those flowers would all be trampled to death or drowned in piss and vomit within weeks,” he told me. “But she planted them anyway.” In this case planted = sentenced to death. Where was Plant Amnesty?

Speaking of Value Village

Minnesotaโ€™s attorney general has filed a lawsuit against the Bellevue-based owner of Value Village thrift stores, accusing the company of violations of the stateโ€™s charities law that include misleading people about how much of their donations actually go to charities and concealing its role as a for-profit company. The lawsuit, announced Thursday, comes six months after the attorney general unveiled a report highly critical of Savers, as the privately held company is called.
