You know, I was just thinking about how the only reason I'm really unhappy about the decline of the traditional newspaper model is that I'm worried that the newspapers will take classic, in-depth investigative journalism down with them - a blogger won't necessarily have the resources to do something like the NY Times' recent investigation of the origins of the Stuxnet virus, for example. I wonder if this kind of model is going to provide a new platform for that?

I thought this was a dating site for cheapskates.

Not that there's anything wrong with it, but it's kind of why MSFT got dissed today by Infoworld for pushing Win tablets that are like a massively crippled iPad.

Great idea. Too many non-fiction books don't have enough material to justify a 300 page book, but too much for a 10 page magazine article.
