Your ugly pet goat?

Is your dog the gnarliest beast this side of Bellevue? Does your cat have a face that only a mother could love? If so, the incredibly attractive folks at The Stranger want to give your poor pupper (or kitty, hedgehog, snake, goat, peacock, etc.) the chance to show off its unsightly assets in the inaugural Ugly Pet Contest, sponsored by Urban Animal Clinic, Purrfect Cat Boarding, and Emerald City Pet Rescue. Fame and eternal bragging rights are up for grabs, along with the chance for your ugly emotional support animal to be featured on the cover of Seattle’s Only Newspaper, The Stranger. (Pups of the human variety are unfortunately ineligible.)

The Fine Print
Snap a pic of your hideous pooch or pet and submit it to uglypetcontest@thestranger.com, or via Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #UglyPetContest, by 5 p.m. today (Tues, March 13). The three ugliest pets will win a professional photo shoot, have their pics featured on The Stranger’s website and social media, and the best shot will be on the cover of the April 11 issue of The Stranger. Winners (and their owners) must be available on Sat., March 24, for a photography session in Seattle.
