Cute and amusing. But fantasy content is easy to write and edit, especially as a group exercise.
It's been a week now for our new mayor, where's the in-depth investigations and behind the scenes color investigative journalism is known for? That's the kind of content your readers are screaming for.
"Phoebe" in "Wallingford", you clearly have your finger on the pulse of Seattle news consumers. Why not start your own news blog? Maybe you can hit up Bari Weiss's benefactors for some seed funding.
Anyway, I'm just here to say, sign me up for buffalo cauliflower and the return of Orange Julius. These are the stuff of delicious dreams.
The list was great (fingers crossed on congestion pricing and the rebirth of Citizen Dick) - my only quibble is the World Cup won’t be much bigger than a typical NFL Sunday, the stadiums will survive just fine (if anything, I suspect public transit will collapse, not our road infrastructure - sadly).
Congestion Pricing is a wet dream for the anti-car set, but it's unnecessary and would be a political disaster. Hopefully, Mayor Wilson won't be that foolish; that's a one-term administration maker for sure.
Seattle may rank high on list of cities with bad traffic, and unnecessary pedestrian and cyclist deaths, but having just arrived in Bombay, India at midnight to experience the glorious chaos that is traffic here - Seattleites have no idea what bad traffic truly is. 🖖🏼

Exactly. And if The Stranger ain't cutting it, don't just sit there and be agitated with them. This is the golden opportunity for you to get YOUR truth out there concurrently. Seize the day.
"Phoebe," yes, I guess I just couldn't resisting commenting myself on just how pertinent and appropriate and worthy of our time your observations @1 were. Keep up the pressure, and hopefully some day The Stranger will be worthy of your time and attention.
Signed,
Someone who clearly needs to have greater respect for their own time and attention

I'm an amateur circus person (mostly aerial silks) and I see more studios and performers popping up everywhere. I think that one is correct. During the burlesque revival in the early 00s it came up a little, but the intense fitness craze of the last 10ish years (CrossFit etc) has laid a foundation for the full stripes-and-fishnets to come back.

I imagine the cauliflower is deep fried to go with the buffalo sauce.

Interesting comment by Hydronerd @6.
