A few weeks ago, KOMO TV 4 weatherman STEVE POOL called The Stranger with a complaint. For years the good-natured (and neatly mustachioed) Pool had been the butt of numerous Stranger jokes. Though our jests were informed by an endearing love for Steve, we assumed that Steve, like most every media personality in the greater Seattle area, hated us.

Evidently, we were wrong. As the quantity of our Steve Pool jokes waned, Steve began to feel neglected. So in an attempt to make it up to Steve, we've fashioned a little contest. Littered throughout this issue are hundreds, if not thousands, of Steve Pool faces. They are everywhere--in articles, photos, even ads. Your mission, dear reader: Count all the Steve Pools. The first person to accurately count all the heads wins a special prize--LUNCH WITH STEVE POOL AND THE STRANGER STAFFER OF YOUR CHOICE!
