FRONT OF BOOK Letters: A full page stacked heavy with complaints. Stay vigilant, Stranger readers! One day your critiques will pound their way through the paper's thickheaded skulls.... Last Days: Wonderful. Just wonderful.... NEWS I find it odd to hear that The Stranger has been boasting about "scooping" its competitors lately given the fact that its news section is routinely the dullest read in the city of Seattle. Is putting readers to sleep its definition of "scooping"?... SHORT FEATURE: A longwinded, unnecessary piece by Sean Nelson (i.e., like every other article penned by Mr. Nelson).... FEATURE In a stunning turn of events, The Stranger produces a fantastic feature. That said fantastic feature comes via Sandeep Kaushik, the paper's best writer, is not a surprise, however. If only Mr. Kaushik could pen every Stranger feature. Then, perhaps, the paper might approach worth-reading status.... THEATER Didn't read.... BOOKS Skimmed.... ART Didn't read.... FOOD Min Liao returns with--surprise!--a positive restaurant review.... MUSIC Skimmed.... FILM A complete disaster this week, as Bradley Steinbacher and Sean Nelson--Seattle's worst film writers--appear on the same page. I'm sure I speak for every Stranger reader when I beg for the paper's powers to never allow this to happen again.... ETC. It's My Party: Didn't read.... Live Wire: Also didn't read.... I Love TV: Didn't read as well.... Control Tower: Didn't read.... Savage Love: Why would anyone choose to read it?... Celebrity I Saw U: Too gay....
