Updates: Kansas Voters
Rush to Defense of
Abortion Rights

The state resoundingly rejected an amendment erasing the right to abortion from its Constitution.

In Missouri, the scandal-plagued Eric Greitens was trounced in his Senate primary by Eric Schmitt, the state’s attorney general.

I see this was a super-successful night for DSA's slate of Congressional candidates.

"Former Seattle Office of Housing director Emily Alvarado will very likely head into the primary with sexual assault survivor advocate Leah Griffin with a substantial lead. She’s currently ahead 52% to 32.5%."

I would ask if you people still employed copy editors, but the answer is obviously "no."

Here, let me help:

"Former Seattle Office of Housing director Emily Alvarado will head into the general election with a substantial lead over with sexual assault survivor advocate Leah Griffin. Alvarado is currently ahead 52% to 32.5%."

Just lmk where I should send the bill.

Well, I voted.

But it was touch and go right at the end. I had a hell of a time finding a secure, monitored drop box in which to deposit my ballot.

Do you think that maybe, just maybe, there was a greater than zero chance that the Stranger's endorsement of Shukri Olow, because of her opposition to any new highway expansion, helped torpedo her candidacy in the car-dependent, highway-dependent 47th District? Maybe next time, when writing about a district you seem to know precious little about, instead of reading your extreme urbanist platform, try reading the room.

I would never mock any blogger for putting their Humanities degree to good use, because if we all did that then there wouldn't be any bloggers. But I will gladly continue to mock any bloggers who insist that cars shouldn't even exist.
