Yelawolf is everything Eminem used to be—dangerous, funny, whiplash fast, and total white trash. This will be the show to see, because in late October, the Southern-fried Alabama rapper releases his first full-length album, Radioactive, on Eminem’s Shady Records. Will Shady dilute Yela’s Lynyrd-Skynyrd-meets-Big-Boi rocker-rap magic? Will he add a bunch of R&B sing-songy ballads to Radioactive’s mix? HE BETTER NOT! If the whole album sounds as good as the first single, “Hard White (Up in the Club)”—a song that also features Lil’ Jon (whaaaaat? Okay!)—then Yelawolf will probably play KeyArena the next time he rolls through Seattle. (Neumos, 925 E Pike St, www.neumos.com, 8 pm, $15, 21+)
