It’s dusk. The fog is thickening. I’m looking for La
Tana dell’Orso, a popular college bar/restaurant somewhere near the
center of Perugia, an Italian university town recently made world
famous by a gruesome murder. Before the murder, Perugia had absolutely
no existence in my mind. For the last three months, it’s been at the
center of my thoughts and dreams. Now, it’s the end of a winter day and I’m
walking through itโ€”walking by its palaces, across its piazzas,
through its portals, mists, and drizzle, searching for this impossible
place called La Tana dell’Orso.

It beganโ€”my obsessionโ€”soon after the morning of November
2, 2007, the day that police found the body of a British student,
Meredith Kercher, 21, in a cottage on the edge of a hill that falls
from a prominent Perugian street, Viale Sant’Antonio. Kercher was in
her bedroom, half-naked, and in a chaos of blankets and clothes. She’d
been stabbed repeatedly in the neck. She had been sexually assaulted. A
washing machine was running somewhere in the house when the police
entered and, while they were standing there, the machine stopped.
Someone had made a ridiculous attempt to clean up. Police looked in her
bathroom and found unflushed shit in the toilet.

Four days after the discovery of Kercher’s body, her American
roommate, Amanda Knox, 20, a study-abroad student from Seattle, and
Knox’s Italian boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, 24, were arrested. During
interrogation, Knox broke down and fingered Diya “Patrick” Lumumba, 44,
the Congolese owner of a bar she worked at, Le Chic, as the murderer.
The police went to Lumumba’s house, got him out of bed, and arrested
him. Two weeks later, Lumumba was releasedโ€”they found no evidence
linking him to the sceneโ€”but Knox and Sollecito remained in
custody. A fourth suspect, Rudy Hermann Guede, whose DNA was in the
shit and in Kercher’s body, was later arrested. Knox, Sollecito, and
Guede are now in a prison on the outskirts of Perugia.

Crime-scene photos detectives released in January show Kercher’s
blood all over the bathroom walls, the hallway, the bedroom, her bed,
the divan, her clothes, her torn bra. Indeed, there is so much blood
it’s hard to believe that just one person was murdered that night. It
looks as if two or three more went down with Kercher into the dark end
of all things.

I’m struggling to locate La Tana dell’Orso, but I had no trouble
finding the cottage where Meredith Kercher and Amanda Knox lived. It
happened to be only a 10-minute walk from my hotel, and holds a
stunning view of the Umbrian countryside and hills. Just up the road
from the cottage, I also found the stately building for Amanda’s
school, the Universita per Stranieri (translated: the University for
Foreigners, or University of Strangers). Across the street from the
University of Strangers, I spotted a sunken basketball court and a
newsstand. At the newsstand, I read on the cover of a local paper,
La Voce di Perugia: “II Dna di Raffaele trovato sul reggiseno
di Meredith”โ€”Sollecito’s DNA had been found on Kercher’s bra. I
bought La Voce, called the author of the main story, Francesca
Marruco, and at 4:00 p.m. met her in a cafe near the Piazza Italia.

Sadly, English is Marruco’s third language and Italian is my zero
language. Our conversation was slow and difficult. Nevertheless, she
managed to inform me that La Tana dell’Orso was the place to go if I
wanted to get a good sense of Knox’s Perugia. It’s the place where Knox
and Kercher used to hang out. It’s also where Knox tried to get a job
when she settled in this town. La Tana had no openings at the time, but
she was told to try Le Chic, the new cool spot at the end of Piazza
Matteotti. The advice proved to be good for Knox (she had a short-lived
job there) and, of course, bad for Lumumba (he had to close Le Chic
because the police consider the bar part of their ongoing
investigation).

The population of Perugia is around 150,000. It’s a sister city to
Seattle, which I did not know until the murder. (Nor did I know Kobe
was a sister city until it was devastated by an earthquake in 1995.)
However, Perugia and Seattle are hardly related. The center of Perugia
is high on a hill; the center of Seattle is down by the bay. The
streets of Perugia are made for walkers; the streets of Seattle are
made for big cars. The center of Perugia has no new buildings; the
center of Seattle is dominated by new buildings. Because it is new, it
is easy to find places in Seattle; because it is old, it is difficult
to find places in Perugia. Directions and maps are useless. They cannot
penetrate the dense network of small streets that accommodate only
pedestrians, motorbikes, and the smallest of cars. To find what you are
looking for, you have to dump all maps, forget all directions, and
simply walk until you run into the place.

Because its buildings are old and made from stone, central Perugia
is more beautiful than Seattle. And what is true about the buildings is
true about the women of this Italian city. The older women here have
about them a confidence, a stability, a mastery of the full language of
their physical form that the younger women do not possess. More than a
full head of gray hair is needed for a Perugian woman to lose her
erotic grip. In Seattle, the complete opposite is true for its
buildings and women: the younger, the more attractive.

I walk in what seem to be circles. I’m looking for a place in a
maze. I go up an escalator, turn, and there is a window with a woman in
it. I turn and walk down a narrow, curving street that ends with a
stone wall. I turn and walk along the wall. I turn and find life in a
cafe. I enter it, drink a glass of wine (two euros), exit it, and see a
massive portal. I walk under it, walk up another steep street, and all
of a sudden, materializing there in the mist, is the sign: La Tana
dell’Orso.

Inside, the place is slowly filling up with colorful students from
around the world, and a big screen, above instruments and equipment for
DJs, shows a game between Manchester United and Newcastle. Though it
first appears to be a sports bar, La Tana is tricky to define: Part of
it is a college pub;
another part of it is a nightclub; another
part of it a jazz joint; and another part of it is set up for wine
tastings during the weekends.

I take a seat by the wall of wine bottles, read the menu, and, tired
of the pork sandwiches (panini, tramezzini) I have been eating for the
last few days, order the hamburger. But it arrives all alone, with no
fries or side surprises; and despite its thick beef patty, it has the
exact same taste as the pork sandwiches that dominate this old country.
After completing the Italian version of the American hamburger, I
approach its maker and ask if he would tell me everything he knows
about Amanda, Meredith, Raffaele, Rudy, the murder, the town, the
media, the students. He is more than happy to do this, but at the
moment is too busy to talk at length. He asks me to come back at noon
on Sunday when business is slow. The time that works best for him works
fine for me. I pay for the burger (three euros), return to the streets,
the thickening fog, and the cold air of Perugia.

This is the kingdom of the international student. They are the
masters of the capital of Umbria. They rule the economy of Perugia. The
old Italian families have abandoned the hill to the students and now
live down in the valley, with the grapes, olive trees, and chocolate
factories. The apartments for rent have no other persons in mind than
those attending the university. This is their place, and they come from
every place on earth. Even though I was born in Zimbabwe and spent a
good amount of time in two international capitalsโ€”London and
Washington, D.C.โ€”I meet my first Libyan here in Perugia, while
buying a kebab from a Lebanese, Ali, whose home is in the Ivory Coast.
I meet my first Angolan ever, while buying a bottle of wine (four
euros) from a small shop that has no name and is run by an ancient
Italian couple. I meet my first Tunisian woman in the Laundromat where
several witnesses claim to have seen Knox and a darkish man on the
night of the crime. The Tunisian woman, who had the manner of a
motherโ€”but a mother who had not entirely abandoned the instincts
of her youthโ€”helps me start the confusing machine. I meet my
first Colombian in the back of a cafeโ€”he is flirting with an
American girl, who looks a lot like the Lolita in Kubrick’s movie.

At night, all sorts of languages can be heard in the dark: Now
Chinese falls from the window of an apartment on the second floor of a
three-story building; now Arabic pours out of a lively magazine stand;
now African French packs an internet cafe. And when the fog is at its
thickest, the old buildings and global bodies became unreal. A circle
of English girls are giggling over there; a clutch of Indian men are
chatting over here. A woman with a head of ghostly hair, a face of
classical perfection, a form that is full, approaches and then
vanishesโ€”her passing causing my heart to flutter like the wings
of a bird that has seen something truly amazing.

Amanda Knox grew up in a plain home in West Seattle. She is the
daughter of a math teacher and a Macy’s executive; she attended a
Catholic prep school on Capitol Hill; she was on the dean’s list at the
University of Washington; she got good grades, was social, blond, the
girl next door. In the middle of December, her friends appeared on ABC
News to defend her damaged character: She’s a blast, a great hugger,
couldn’t hurt a fly. “Her world,” said one of Amanda’s friends, Andrew,
to the TV, “revolves around making people feel good and making people
feel happy.” At the end of January, her parents and sister also
appeared on TV, on 20/20, and defended her. Her mother, Edda
Mellas, said she had been “painted in this horrible light.” Her sister
criticized the press for portraying Amanda as “the girl from Seattle
with an angel face and ice-cold eyes.”

Raffaele Sollecito, who had only been her boyfriend for a couple of
weeks, grew up in Bari, a port city that is the center of the
prosperous Puglia region; he is close to completing a degree in
computer engineering, his mother died recently, and his father, who
recently remarried, supports him to the max. “[Raffaele] collects
knives,” the father told the press, “but nothing more.” Knox met
Sollecito in the middle of October, two weeks before the murder, at a
classical-music concert. “My first impression was that this was an
interesting girl,” wrote Sollecito in a letter to his father. “She
looked at me over and over again and seemed to be searching for
something in my eyes, like a particular interest. Then I sat near her
to talk and I noticed that her opinions on the music were odd because
she didn’t concentrate on the emotions it provoked but on the
rhythmโ€”slow, fast, slow.”

Rudy Hermann Guede was a guard in the Italian basketball league
(2004โ€“05), reportedly loves to disco dance, speak English, hang
out with the ladies, and meet famous fashion designers. Yes, he has had
brushes with the law, but his father, Pacome Roger Guede, is certain
that he did not commit the murder. “My son is innocent,” Rudy’s father
told reporters in Perugia, as he wiped away tears. “He is a good boy.”
It’s possible Knox met Guede for the first time in September, while
looking for an apartment in Perugia, because on her MySpace blog she
mentioned bumping into “the most beautiful black man [she had] ever
seen.” From his pictures on his Facebook site, one gets the impression
that Guede also thought he was the most beautiful black man he had ever
seen.

Detectives have produced no real motive for the murder, and none of
the three suspects are talking. Their stories are now managed by
lawyers and PR agents. What we know about the crime and the suspects
comes mostly from what the police and lawyers release/leak to the
press. From these releases/leaks of information rises a haze of
conflicting confessions, changing stories, DNA links, and digital
details. For a while, Sollecito insisted he was not at the cottage at
the time of the murder; he was, instead, at home surfing the web. But
the recent revelation that his DNA was found on Kercher’s bra ties him
to the scene. Knox first said she wasn’t there, either; she was at
Sollecito’s place. Then a surveillance camera captured Knox walking
back to the cottage an hour before Kercher returned home for the last
time. After that, Knox admitted she had been at home, saying she had
smoked a lot of hash, heard the killer in the other room, and closed
her ears while Kercher screamed. But a drop of Knox’s blood has been
found in a sink, and her DNA was also on a knife that had Kercher’s DNA
on its tip. Guede claims that he did not kill Kercher, that the two had
consensual sex, and after sex he took a big shit in her bathroom
because his stomach was turned by some “spicy kebab.” While taking the
long shit, he was listening to music on his iPod. Because the music was
loud, he did not hear Kercher screaming for her life in the other room.
When he entered her room, he confronted and tussled with her killer.
The stranger screamed: “A black man found, black man condemned,” and
fled the house. In the quiet moment that fell upon the room, Guede
heard Kercher’s last word: “af.” He knelt beside her oozing life,
dipped a forefinger into a warm pool of her blood, wrote “AF” on the
wall, and ran out of her house. That is his story.

No one outside of Knox, Sollecito, and Guede really knows what
happened on the night of the murder. No one knows what Knox, Sollecito,
and Guede were doing before Kercher returned home. In the absence of
stable answers, the imagination does its work. Were the three waiting
for her? Did they plot an attack? Were they caught by surprise in the
middle of a threesome and forced Kercher to join in? Did Knox pin
Kercher’s head to the floor as Guede sexually assaulted her from
behind? Was Sollecito fucking Knox as Guede raped Kercher? Did Guede
and Sollecito fuck Knox as Kercher watched with dying eyes? Or was
Kercher into it? Was she playing along? Was the violence simulated or
real? Were the three stabs in Kercher’s neck intentional or accidental?
Was it rape or consensual? Was this an act of revenge or did it just
happen all of a sudden, like a wild storm that appeared, erupted, and
cleared?

It’s not hard to see why Amanda Knox first looked for a job at La
Tana dell’Orso. The business has some similarities to the last place
she worked in Seattle, the World Cup cafe in the University District.
Like La Tana, the World Cup is a little mixed upโ€”a part of it
sells soups and panini, another part of it sells espresso and tea, and
another sells bottles of wine. The business also has wine tasting on
Saturday afternoons. Not far from one of the closest things Seattle has
to medieval architecture, the neo-Gothic Blessed Sacrament Church
(built in 1908), and right next to the Continental Store European
Delicatessen, the World Cup stands at the opposite end of the spectrum
from the hamburger off La Tana’s menu: One is an Italian idea of an
American object; the other, the cafe, is an American idea of a European
space, with its wall of dark bottles, its aristocratic ambience,
autumn-colored panels, and noble furniture. To an American, it looks
perfectly European; to a European, it might look like McDonald’s.

On the day I visited the World Cup, just before leaving for Italy, I
had the luck of meeting an old friendโ€”let’s call him Matthew. He
was one of two people working behind the counter. He remembered me
before I remembered him. We had not seen each other since my wild
college years, back in the early 1990s. We had mutual
friendsโ€”crazy Hagar, loopy Lisa, boozy Jennyโ€”and partied
like there was no tomorrow. It’s a wonder we survived that terrific
turbulence of dusk-to-dawn parties, blood-boiling passions, and all
sorts of filthy desires that seemed to come out of nowhere and go
nowhere. It’s a wonder I’m not serving (have never served) time for one
of those bad nights that spun way out of controlโ€”Who are
these people? What is in my hands? What did I just smoke? Did I have
sex with her? Why is that policeman looking at me? Will this high ever
end?

Matthew seemed to be happy enough with his life and job at World
Cup. He told me he was on the wagon. Had been on it for a while. He had
no plans to get off it for a while. After catching up on things, I
asked him about Knox. He used to work with her and had lots to say
about her and the media frenzy that she is in the center of. Almost
immediately after her arrest in Italy, reporters from around the world
began hounding the small cafe. They showed up in droves and sat around
waiting for something to happen. And when they were not around, they
kept calling and asking about Knox, about her personality, her
performance on the job, her habitsโ€”anything that was fit enough
to throw into print or on the screen.

“You know,” Matthew said, leaning toward me, “a lot of people are
saying she is a sweet girl and they can’t believe she could have done
such a thing. But, to be honest, I’m not surprised she is a suspect.
Really. The first time I met her, when I got the job here, she asked me
if I was Jewish. I told her I was. She then screamed: ‘My people killed
your people,’ and began laughing hysterically. I didn’t know what to
say. She just kept laughing about her Germans killing my Jews. After
that, I did not like her. She really freaked me out.”

The owner of La Tana dell’Orso, Estaban, the guy who told
me to come back on Sunday at noon, is 36, a little lanky, and handsome
in exactly the way that his name is handsome. He is married to an
English woman. He was born in Argentina. He once lived near Mount Baker
in Washington (“I was snowboarding back then”), and in the late 1990s
worked at the famous Shakespeare and Company bookstore in Paris. He now
runs a bar that once employed Patrick Lumumba, almost employed Amanda
Knox, and entertained Meredith Kercher.

“This is where she used to hang out,” says Estaban, pouring me a
glass of Umbrian wine and pressing the central place his business has
in the world of the murder. “Count them! Thursday, Saturday, Sunday,
not Mondayโ€”because we are closed on Mondaysโ€”and Tuesday,
Meredith was in my place.” He walks to the back of the bar, which is
filled with the light of a sun that has just made its first appearance
since my arrival in Perugia. The window looks out at medieval rooftops,
green valleys, and purple-blue hills. “Over here, this is where they
sat the last time she visited this place, on a Tuesday.”

I look at the table.

“Amanda sat here. Raffaele sat here. Meredith sat there, with two
other English girls.”

Estaban points across the room.

“You know that picture of Meredith that’s in all of the papers?
Well, look over here, do you recognize it?” I look at the table, the
brick wall, the postersโ€”one advertising beer, the other a drawing
of a musicianโ€”and instantly recognize the setting. It’s been
reproduced all over the web. Here, in this empty space, Meredith
Kercher, two days before she was murdered, the day before she wore a
dreadful Dracula costume for Halloween (black cape, black lace around
her neck, blood-red lips), stood with a sweet smile, flowing brown
hair, lively brown eyes, clear British/Indian skin, a gray tank top, a
fleshy shoulder and elbow showing. The digital image captured forever
one of the final happy moments in Kercher’s life.

Estaban is right, the place is central to the story of Knox and
Kercher, but I still don’t feel like I’ve reached the story’s essence,
so the next day I leave the hill and travel down, down, down to Capanne
Prison, a 20-minute drive from Perugia. The sun is gone; the clouds are
low; the rain is weak; the two-lane road is all but empty; my driver,
Fabrizio Troccoli, a freelance photographer for local papers, is
reticent. The purpose of the trip is to get me as close as possible to
Amanda Knox. If you are not in her immediate family, or her lawyer, or
her nun, or one of the inmates in the female section of the prison,
then the gates of “carcere di Capanne” is the closest you can
physically get to her.

We arrive. The prison’s parking lot is huge and harsh, and across
the street from it is a complex of grain silos that do not have about
them the air of joy you expect from a place that stores food, glorious
food. The main building of the prison is bulky and bleak, and the gate,
like the tall wall that stretches out into the flat countryside, is as
attractive as sandpaper. A group of reporters and cameramen lurk under
a tree at the east part of the parking lot. They are with ABC News;
they are waiting for something to happen. An hour later, something does
happen! The father of suspect Raffaele Sollecito emerges with his new
glamorous wifeโ€”she is blond, wearing a mink coat, black gloves,
and winning the late rounds of her battle against the undefeated forces
of time.

We reporters surround the father, Francesco Sollecito, ask the same
old questions (how is your son? what about Amanda?), and he gives the
same old answers (Raffaele is fine; he is studying for his computer
exam; Amanda is a strange woman).

Francesco enters his carโ€”hot wife behind the wheelโ€”and
leaves. The reporters call it a good day and leave. And I… I do not
leave, yet. I stand around and stare at the building beyond the gate.
It is the absolute negative of the realm of the students, Perugia,
where everything is unreal and students get away with almost anything;
this is the graveyard of the best that youth has to offerโ€”freedom
of the body, the pressures of the flesh, the satisfaction of sex. By
the time this is published, Knox will have been in jail in Italy for
longer than she was in the streets, bars, concert halls, galleries,
cafes, classrooms, bedrooms, lingerie shops, and piazzas of Italy. If
all goes badly for her, she’ll no longer be a foreign student in this
country, but an immigrant here. Against her will. If all goes badly,
her education over the years is going to be the education of an
immigrant; she’ll learn things about Italy that they never teach at the
University of Strangers. Then one day, somewhere in her 40s or 50s,
she’ll walk out of these gates as an Italian woman who was once young
and all American. recommended

  1. Excellent piece about the Kercher case and yes it is nice to see someone reporting the case neutrally but picking up on the bleeding obvious – that Knox is in big trouble unless she can produce solid evidence of her alibi.

  2. Knox doesnยดt even know which story she wants to tell with regards to that night… she implicated a man who had a solid alibi and, in her own words, covered her ears while Meredith screamed in the next room…

Any normal person would run in to help or run out and call for help… This chick is a freak just on these grounds… plus all the fascination with rape that she expounded on her website. Knox was involved or knows who was. The Italians have kept her under lock and chiave for a year because she would have high-tailed it back to the US in a second. Lucky for her, she wonยดt face the Death Penalty.

Itยดs tragic that poor Meredith happened to room with “La Luciferina”.

The story was great. Loved it.

  3. Non story?! But this article establishes that the author is a really cool and worldly guy. He should write more articles about this pressing issue.

  4. For anyone who is interested in the facts behind the media spin, and who cares to learn more about the victim of this terrible murder – Meredith Kercher – there is an excellent discussion board

    http://perugiamurderfile.freeforums.org

as well as an interesting blog

    truejustice.org

These online resources are not for profit. Anyone can read and/or participate and people from around the world do. They have followed this case since last November, and are in no way related to Amanda Knox. Nor are they her friends.

  5. very cool work. it reminded me of who dunit spy novels and tv shows as a kid, where the detective goes searching in the obvious places for the clues. it was also a very interesting point from Amanda’s old co-worker and the german/jew deal. wow. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I think Knox & company were high and accidentally cut Meredith. This would explain the 2, light cuts and this would be in keeping with everyone’s character.

  7. I only hope the truth comes out in it’s entirity and justice is served for the victim. A young life has been taken in such a grosteque manner and her life was only beginning.

  8. It is incredible, unbelievable and just plain disgusting how an internet mob gathers here who allow themselves to speak judgement on no basis of facts or they know next to nothing about what really happened (how could they? police even doesn’t – they have made severe mistakes at the first place during investigation, the court doesn’t, an interrogation has been made that reminds of inquisition methods and an Italian News Paper has held back an important video for months on end!).
Yet people gather here who are all to obviously red-hot with desire to see that girl suffer!
Why? what has she done to you? Are you jealous because she looks good? (does she? – she looks ok and has a regular face – not one that bespeaks of twisted mind!)
Can you not understand that someone aced with such a horrible accusation and having to face a total loss of control over her live will smile at most anybody she hopes could possibly help her? What is ‘cold-blooded’ about that? Would anyone of you who are so slyly writing (pre!-)condemning judgments here not scream and beg for help if in her place?

That is the same mob that gathered in the middle eval ages on the market square when a woman was to be burned on accuse of being a witch – an accuse mankind has painfully come to learn was wrong, evil and just an outcome of jealousy, hatred, narrow-mindedness and blood thristyness – all of people’s minds that’s low and lustruous for cruel sensations had gathered then and it gathers here again!

Any writer writing a crime story be a murder now? Well, I know a few to throw before the jaws of the mob, then! In our times when young people play killer games via internet yet do not go out and murder people any attempt to nail down a ‘proof’ by that story she has allegedly written is hoax, it is hot air and nothing more!

How can a fair trial proceed when the mob shouts ‘hang her, kill her, torture her, we want to see her suffer – we want to see one person be destroyed, it turns us on, it heats us up, go on do it, do it, do it!” And you can almost perceive them masturbating on it!

This discussion has come from the gutter and that’s where it belongs!
Shocking – nothing less than plain shocking!

  9. Meredith Kercher was a sub. There wears a sign of that on the published portrait photo of hers.
I am not attempting to suggest how and what happened but it could not be fully ruled out that she (accidentally) helped her been stabed by (at the beginning) consentually agreing to play a sub’s part in an SM session!
That does by no means excuse murdering her of course but it might put things into a different light.

    And one other point:
My God beware you from ever getting into that position of accusรฉe with the Italian police and justice – a country where powers rule that keep unseen and things are not neccessarily going regular!
The procedures so far have proven my point!

    Madonna Mia!

  10. Knox is not innocent. I even think that she is the mind behind the murder. There is something very disturbing about her cold character. She has a perverse narcissistic disorder. And narcissists grow colder in the face of danger. In their inner self they never aknowledge guilt.
But she may walk out free on technical grounds.

  12. She’s a Black Widow and she needs to pay the piper. Sadly, Italy like so many other Socialist EU countries has lost its spine and does not have capital punishment. All four of these scumbags need to die. But I suppose long prison sentences, robbing them of their youth, would be the next best thing.

  13. The article is good… especially telling about the part of the germans killing jews.. that is unheard of to say something like that.. But. The author suggests the lovemaking led to possibly an accidental death, he questions the rape part. There is one piece of evidence he misses to tell: the victim was on her period, and even if she had a kinky thing about sex during her period – she had a tampon in her vagina with that guys sperm.. NO woman on earth has sex with a tampon INSIDE her. That to me says one thing: rape.

  14. wow~ some of you people are real assholes. glad I don’t live in the Pacific Northwest. Guess the weather makes you all cranky and somewhat stupid.

  15. Amanda Knox is an American student who stands trial for the murder of her former roommate Meredith Kercher, in Perugia Italy, where she is facing a Kafkaesque fate in a foreign court at the height of Anti American, anti Bush, anti Iraq sentiment. She has captivated the world and my attention with her virgin like beauty. She has been branded Fronte di angelโ€™o (angel face) by the Italian media. Public snippets of her personal life have been used against her to create a public persona of a promiscuous Cold hearted American driven by passion and jealousy.
I wanted to create a visual representation of the demonization of Amanda Knox. & Recreate the slimy residue left behind the medias notorious circus. – ROJAS

  16. Over 47 defensive wounds on Meredith’s hands and body….not two light cuts Suzieq…….When you accidentally cut someone, you do not mortally injure them. Harryrag is not a troll but a human being, just as you FOA are. Perhaps you should try and explain your positions instead of threatening and harrassing other posters. This was a stupid article and explained zero.

  17. My name is Sandra La Day and our son was killed in Lumberton, Texas this is a town that do not have any Black Afro Americans my son car went into the ditch the police claim he was running and that it was stated that he died on PCP which we have found out that the 2nd autospy is different then the first one that the county have done and he was not running cause he was on the phone with me I feel sorry for both of the families like us things was posted about Kevin that people was saying and knew nothing yet cause Kevin had been to prison and jail before is this the reason that all this should have been said and if you judge people on this and that is this right? We are not god and I feel for both of the families losing Kevin have been so hard on us read Kevin La Day and also read fightingpolicecorruption.com and read Kevin La Day Story / then the same site Kevin at work we all have a choice of what we say about others but I, feel that is Amanda is not guilt then she should be freed. If it was our child how would we feel

  18. great article, i like it, i also think she is guilty but no, i don’t think rudy was part of a threesome i think he was already there. what happen with meridith was that amanda was a ticking bomb, meridth was like miss goody2shoes everyone liked her, but amanda was the promiscous dirty american gir with no scruplesl who didin’t clean after herself. well those kinds of rumors can be hurtful and more if you are bipolar, i think her death was schemed by rafaelle and amanda, they played out a fantasy based on the darkness of their little hearts and brought it to life, it was too hard for them to wake up to the reality of their madness. i think they both need help, and rudy, well his black ass was there at the wrong time, just think about it a knife infliction it causes blood to drain slowly therefore while the killer flees there is no bloody mess yet, that explains why rudy’s footprint were perfectly xeroxed at the murder scene, there was enough carbon (blood) to make a perfect footprint of a future suspect with a black face. now i’m not defending rudy, i think he is a scumbag that left her there to die, and i think he is a filthy pig for not flushing, poor meridith had this disgusting human put his unwashed hands in her body. i hope he does his 16 years with more reductions on his sentence. i do believe he tried to stop the bleeding as he said with a towel (that evidence was found). now amanda and rafaelle should rot in prison they killed meridith she executed it and rafaelle held her back.

  19. Judge Micheli;
โ€œIn his report he explains that blood evidence proves that Meredith was wearing her bra when she was killed. Nor is it just the blood on her bra which demonstrates this. Itโ€™s also where the blood isnโ€™t on her body. He says that Meredith was wearing her bra normally when she lay in the position in which she died, and she was still wearing it for quite some time after she was dead. Her bra strap marks and the position of her shoulder are imprinted in the pool of blood in that position. Meredithโ€™s shoulder also shows the signs that she lay in that position for quite some time.โ€
(After reading the above, I realized Rudy continued raping Meredithโ€™s body after he killed her. Rudy returned to Meredithโ€˜s body before the blood puddle the body lay in was dry, cut the bra strap near back center as her body lay on itโ€™s side. Rudy then removed the bra to expose her breast, positioned her body face up and in an area in the floor for access to rape. Then Rudy raped Meredithโ€™s body multiple times that night. Rudy is a monster, no doubt)

(Meredithโ€™s body was found by the police face up. Blood streaks on the floor indicated the body was moved and the dried blood on the body not running in a downward direction indicated she was moved from her side to her back after she was dead)

    THE MONSTER OF PERUGIA
This creature raped Meredith during and after her death. Rudy is a monster, a monster that enjoyed raping Meredith while she was dieing and after she was dead. Rudy Guede is among the worse of the worse.

THE ACTUAL CRIME; (Rev 2) draft
(Rudy is hid in the apartment, likely in Meredithโ€™s room, when Amanda comes home around 10:30 AM to shower. The evidence is when Amanda went back to her boy friends place; The feces that Amanda saw in the toile bowl before leaving her apartment were flushed. Someone flushed the feces while she was gone. She locked the apartment entrance door when she left. Someone had to be hiding in the apartment when she left. Who other than Rudy? He was there when Amanda came home. She is lucky he didn’t kill her).

During the evening of, Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, after dark (05:05pm, sun set), Rudy Guede, a 20 y/o homeless man, a known burglar, drug dealer, set out to rape, rob and kill Meredith Kercher.

Rudy was wearing a jacket and carried with him a pocket knife with a 3 ยฝ inch locking blade, a pair of leather gloves, a thin plastic card and some condoms.
(Rudy thought using the condoms while raping Meredith, would prevent the police from identifying him as the rapist).

Rudy had been watching the upstairs apartment occupied by four female college students, Amanda Knox, Meredith Kercher, Filomena Romanelli and Laura Mezzetti, for quiet some time.

Rudy associated with the college boys occupying the downstairs apartment who were away on a trip the night of the crime. From them and watching he learned such things as when the rent was due, how the girls spent their time and when they were likely not home. Rudy knew Meredith would likely come home early as she normally does and the other three girls have boy friends, who they normally spend the night with, were not likely to come home until late, if not at all.

On the night of the crime the conditions were perfect for Rudy to rape, murder and rob Meredith.

    RUDY ARRIVES Thursday Nov. 1, 2007 (5:05 PM – 9:30 PM)
When Rudy arrived outside the girlโ€™s apartment after dark (> 5:05 PM and < 9:30 PM), he could see all the lights were turned off (both upstairs and down) and he reasoned, likely nobody is home. He could tell by the carโ€™s not in the parking lot, likely no one was home in the building. Rudy knocked on the apartmentโ€™s entry door to see if Meredith might be napping. If Meredith answered the door he had planed to over power her and shove her into the apartment. No one answered the door. Rudy tried to open the door but it was locked.

Rudy put on his gloves, picked up a large rock, then threw it through the window in Philomenaโ€™s room. Then Rudy hid while waiting to see if anybody heard the noise. No lights came on and no neighbors showed up to investigate the noise. Then Rudy climbed in through the window in Filomenaโ€˜s room (which is Rudy’s known method of operation. Rudy entered many busted windows in his past. Also Rudy was previously an athlete). Rudyโ€™s jacket and his gloves prevented him from getting cuts.

Rudy scattered Meredithโ€™s clothing, belongings and broken glass about as he searched her room. Rudy was hiding in Filomenaโ€™s room waiting for Meredith to come home.

(The crime scene investigators failed to notice the glass under Meredithโ€™s close. They didnโ€™t realize at the time the glass on top of the clothe was going to be used as Evidence against Amanda, in accusing her of throwing the rock through the window as the trio Rudy, Amanda and Raffaele were leaving after the crime. In all my research about this case Iโ€˜ve not found a statement where the authorities officially stated there was no glass found under Meredithโ€˜s clothes)

    MEREDITH ARRIVES
Around 9:15 p.m. Rudy heard Meredith coming into the apartment and that’s when he got out his pocket knife with the locking blade. Rudy saw Meredith opening the door to her room and enter her room.
(In my mindโ€™s eye I can see Rudy peeping out Filomena’s door watching his prey, Meredith).

    ATTACK
9:30 p.m. Now in her room Meredith calls her Mom. (The call was interrupted. call Length ?) Meredith had not locked the door to her room or it may have been standing open). Rudy quietly crept to Meredithโ€™s door then burst into her room. (This is when Meredithโ€™s scream was heard by a neighbor, the neighbor didnโ€˜t know the time). Rudy grabbed Meredith, put his hand over her mouth and put his knife to her throat. She fought desperately, resulting in multiple bruises on her body. Rudy forced her onto the bed. She continued to resist and the pillow was knocked off the bed onto the floor. She was still struggling desperately as they rolled to the floor.

    RAPE
Rudy struck Meredith knocking her unconscious then put on a condom. Rudy tried to rape Meredith face down on the floor but she regained consciousness and fought to escape from him. Rudy held her face in the pillow. Meredith continued to struggle, resulting in more bruises.
(This explains the โ€œmysteriousโ€ bruises forensics found on her knees)

Rudy was in a mad rage and he wanted to orgasm now. Rudy could not enter Meredith because she was struggling so desperately, so Rudy put his hand over her mouth and pulled her upright, exposing her neck to him. She managed to get her feet under her. Meredith was in a crouch position. This is when Rudy stabbed her in the throat the first time with the 3 ยฝ inch blade. She stepped in her blood then on the pillow leaving the โ€œ1โ€ and only โ€œmysteriousโ€ foot print found in Meredithโ€˜s room.
( The police said she did not die immediately, based on the nature of the wounds. They said the killer wanted her to die slow).

Rudy enjoyed Meredithโ€™s pain. He wanted her to be alive to experience the horror. Rudy put on a condom. Rudy achieved an orgasm while raping Meredith as she was slowly dieing.

(Rudy is an experienced killer. Rudy killed her in a way she would die slow so he could enjoy raping her as she was dieing. If you combine what he did before and after she was dead and how he killed her, it is easy to deduct he also raped her as she was dieing. Likely the first jab to her throat silenced and subdued her so he could orgasm with her still alive. This thrilled him)

After raping her he pulled her head up exposing her neck to him again. Before 10:00 PM Rudy jabbed her throat two more times to finish her. Rudy enjoyed watching her chock on her own blood. Meredith rolled to her side and lay on the floor on her side unconscious, but still alive. Rudy watched, feeling his power, as she passed on.

Then Rudy took Meredithโ€™s money from her pocket book and got her cell phones. At 10:00 p.m. Rudy makes a call on Meredith’s cell phone to her bank in the UK. Rudy was going to make a payment to himself from her account. (The call doesn’t go through because Rudy didn’t punch in the proper area code for London. If Meredith made the call she would have punched in the correct area code. If she misdialed Rudy would have forced her to dial again. Therefore Meredith was dead at this time and Rudy placed the call).

(I know this is chilling and inconceivable for a sane mind but Rudy is a psychopath who is capable of anything imaginable. Rudy is comparable to the worse of the worse rapist / murderers. Rudy is a monster. Rudy enjoyed feeling his power as he rapped and killed Meredith. Itโ€™s said rapist do it for the power they feel. It was horrible for Meredith. I am so sorry for her).

Rudy went to the toilet tracking blood from his shoes all over the place and got blood on things in the bathroom from his hands and shoes. He washed the blood off his pocket knife, hands and mouth. Rudy then put his pocket knife back in his pocket.

(Police first said Meredithโ€™s blood was mixed with Amandaโ€™s blood DNA but later determined it was not Amandaโ€™s blood but DNA resulting from Amanda sharing the same toilet facilities. Amanda didnโ€˜t have any cuts. Rudy was found to have a cut on his hand). Was Rudyโ€™s blood DNA found in the apartment????????????????????????????????????????????????????

[4] (Meredith lay on her side a long time after she was dead. Evidence shows Meredithโ€™s bra was still in the normal position on her body).

    RUDY RAPES CORPSE
Later that night before 2 AM and before Meredithโ€™s blood under her body dried, Rudy returned to Meredithโ€™s room and removed all his clothing. Rudy wanted to feel her cool dead body against his. Rudy cleaned away the victims feces and urine with towels. Rudy cut Meredithโ€™s bra strap with his pocket knife and removed her bra to expose her breast. This excited him. Rudy then positioned her body face up (the blood had thickened by this time, this is why the downward blood run didnโ€˜t match the position the police found the body in, Iโ€™m assuming less than one hour passed before he raped her after he killed her) then he moved her body to a location on the floor suitable for access then Rudy put on a condom and rape her again.

Rudy stepped in Meredithโ€™s blood barefooted and tracked it about the apartment.

    RUDY WASHES HIMSELF
Rudy returned to the small bathroom barefooted, closest to Meredithโ€™s room, to wash up.

Rudy returned to Meredithโ€™s room many times during the night to rape her body over and over.

(Rudy wasnโ€™t worried about someone coming home to catch him. Rudy was confident the other girls would not come home until the following day. Rudy knew it would likely be a girl alone, if by chance a room mate did come home and he planed to rape, rob and kill her also. Rudy wasnโ€™t in a hurry to leave. Rudy is strong, fast and cunning. He knew he could kill, with his knife, any man that came through the door. Rudy knew exactly what he was doing. He was cool with all of it, not nervous or scared in the least. Rudy was so relaxed that some time during the night he defecated in the large bathroom toilet bowl and didnโ€˜t flush).

Rudy continued to search Meredithโ€™s and Filomenaโ€™s rooms. He thought he would find money hid in their rooms. The other rooms were locked. While searching Filomenaโ€™s room Rudy scattered more glass around, some of it falling onto Filomenaโ€™s clothes.

    RUDY PREPAREING TO GO OUT
(During the night Rudy left the apartment but later returned to admire his work and rape her body many more times. The authorities say many serial killers have been known to return numerous times to the bodies they hid. They go there to masturbate or just sit. One I know of admitted to this).

As Rudy was preparing to leave for the club, he cleaned up blood in the social are area of the apartment, he locked the door to Meredith’s room (police say the door can only be locked from inside the room, with the door closed, I say BS). Meredithโ€™s bedroom door is not a dead bolt lock, so with the door open, Rudy turned the mechanism to lock. He held the bolt in with the plastic card and pulled the door closed. Rudy locked and closed the door to Filomena’s room, the same way he locked the door to Meredithโ€™s room.

Rudy turned all the lights off then left the apartment through the entry door, Leaving the entry door unlocked.

    RUDY LEAVING
Rudy left the apartment with Meredithโ€˜s rent money and her two cell phones. He threw her cell phone in the bushes as he walked.
(Rudy thought he could sell or use the phones to transfer money from her bank account, but he decided he didnโ€™t want the evidence in his possession, so he threw them away)

Rudy went to a night club (seen there sometime between 2 a.m. to 4.a.m. ) where the college kids hang out. (The people at the club said Rudy stunk. Likely itโ€˜s was Meredithโ€™s feces they were smelling). He was spending Meredithโ€™s rent money and was having a good time. Rudy bought drugs and alcohol with Meredithโ€™s rent money. Rudy was high on drugs and intoxicated when he returned to the apartment to continue raping Meredithโ€™s body.

    RUDY RETURNS
Sometime around 4 AM Rudy returned to the girlโ€™s apartment. Rudy saw the lights were off so he thought, good likely nobody came home. He entered through the door which he left unlocked. Rudy thought likely nobody came home because the door was still unlocked. Then Rudy continued to rape Meredithโ€™s body multiple times. Rudy was so intoxicated and high on drugs, he passed out in Meredithโ€™s room.

(From the time Amanda arrives, Amanda and five walk through the apartment, tracking evidence here and there, until after Meredithโ€™s body is found in her room and the police sent them outside. The time given for the events is not exact. People didnโ€˜t know exactly what time events happened except for cell phone calls. The prosecution took issue with this)
    AMANDA ARRIVES HOME TO SHOWER
A little before 10:30 AM Amanda walks from Raffaeleโ€˜s apartment to the girlโ€˜s apartment. (Amanda had spent the entire night at the nearby apartment of Raffaele , her boyfriend, and had come home to take a shower).
Around 10:30 a.m. When Amanda arrived home she found the apartmentโ€™s entry door was wide open Dec. 17 interrogation. Amanda thought it was strange and she thought that maybe somebody left the door open. But she thought no one ever leaves the door open, but there was the possibility that someone had left it unlocked maybe for a moment.

Amanda went into her room, gathered her necessities and then in the bathroom. She saw traces of blood or something on the bathmat, but did not feel suspicious at this time. She didnโ€™t see much blood. She thought it could be anything, like an accident or one of the girls was menstruating, so Amanda took her shower.

Rudy woke up in Meredithโ€™s room that morning. Rudy attempted to clean away his DNA from the victims body, especially the areas around the victimโ€™s reproductive organs with towels. He placed a comforter over Meredithโ€™s body.
Rudy heard someone come in the apartment. He decided to remain hidden in Meredithโ€™s room until he had a chance to escape.

After Amanda showered, she went into the apartmentโ€™s big bathroom and saw someoneโ€™s feces in the toilet bowl. Amanda began to think that something was not right and started to get scared. Amanda had been in the apartment around an hour or so when she thought she should return to Raffaeleโ€™s apartment.

    AMANDA LEAVES FOR RAFFEALEโ€™S PLACE
Somewhere around 11:30 a.m. Amanda is very worried by this time, thinking itโ€™s not safe to remain there, she starts for Raffaele ‘s apartment. As she is leaving she locks the apartment door behind her and walks to Raffaele’s.

RUDY MOVING ABOUT IN THE APARTMENT
(Rudy heard Amanda as she was leaving the Apartment).

Rudy went to the big bathroom room to urinate and when he finished he flushed his feces down the toilet.

Rudy put the towels along with some of Meredithโ€™s clothing he contaminate in the washing machine, added soap and bleach then started the washing machine.

    RUDY LEAVING
As he was going out Meredithโ€™s bedroom door for the last time, that morning, he placed the door lock mechanism in lock. He held the lock bolt in with a plastic card and pulled the door shut. He then slid the card out of the crack allowing the bolt to extend to the lock position.

He left the apartment with what was left of Meredithโ€™s rent money. Nobody saw him leaving around ??:?? AM that morning.
(Rudy may have locked the apartment entry door the same way he locked Meredithโ€™s door or Amanda didnโ€™t realize the door was already unlocked when she put the key in the lock and turned it)

    AMANDA ARRIVES AT RAFFEALEโ€™S
(time ?) After arriving at Raffaeleโ€™s apartment, Amanda told Raffaele she was worried. Amanda told Raffaele that when she got home, she found the door wide open and about the blood stains in the small bathroom. Amanda asked Raffaele whether he thought it was strange. Raffaele said he did and told her to phone her friends. She told Raffaele she had phoned Filomena and Meredith but Meredith wasn’t answering her cell phone.

12:07 p.m. Amanda calls Meredithโ€™s UK phone. No answer.
12:08 p.m. Amanda calls her room mate, Filomena. (Filomena had spent the night at her boyfriend Marco’s house. Now she is with her close friend Paola Grande). Amanda told Filomena that she had slept at Raffaele’s house and that when she had gone back to the girlโ€™s apartment, she had found the apartment door open and blood in her bathroom. She told Filomena that she had took a shower earlier. Amanda said she was scared. Filomena said the apartment door open and the blood seemed really strange. Filomena asked Amanda to check that the house was in order and to call the police

*12:11 p.m. Amanda calls the Italian phone that Meredith had borrowed from Filomena. No answer
*12:11 p.m. Amanda calls Meredithโ€™s UK cell phone again. No answer.
    *12:12 p.m. Filomena calls Amanda.
    *12:20 p.m. Filomena calls Amanda.

    AMANDA AND RAFFEALE ARIVE
(time?) Raffaele and Amanda walk to the girlโ€˜s apartment. Amanda puts the key in the lock and turns it to unlock the girlโ€™s apartment entry door.
(The door may not have actually been locked, or Rudy might have locked the entry door the same way he locked the door to Meredithโ€˜s room, if itโ€˜s not a dead bolt lock. Some doors have two locks, a dead bolt lock and one that is not).

Raffaele went in first. Raffaele noticed that Filomena’s door is open, there is glass on the floor and the room is a mess.

(Amanda had left the door to her room open earlier before she left to go to Raffaeleโ€™s. Amandaโ€™s room was still tidy)

Raffaele looked at the blood in the bathroom. He saw there were drops of blood in the sink and saw there was something strange on the bathmat, a mixture of blood and water, while the rest of the bathroom was clean. Nothing else was out of place.

Amanda went into the big bathroom then came out scared. Amanda clung to Raffaele and said that when she was showering earlier that morning, she saw feces in the toilet bowl, but now it was gone now!!!!!!!!!
(Amanda had locked the apartment door before she left for Raffaele โ€™s place, Rudy had to be hiding in the apartment and he flushed the toilet while she was gone)

Raffale was wondered what was going on. He wanted to see if a burglar could enter through the broken window, so he went out side to see if it was possible to climb up to Meredith’s window.

Raffaele came back in and knocked on Meredithโ€™s door and gets no response. Raffaele was worried something bad might have happened to Meredith so he tried to force the door to Meredithโ€™s room open but he couldn’t open it.

Raffaele was worried so he decided to call his sister for advice because she is a lieutenant in the carabinieri (Police). His sister told Raffaele to call 112 (the police emergency number 112).

12:34 p.m. Filomena calls Amanda and asked her to call the police.
12.50 p.m. Raffaele calls his sister, a different branch of the Italian police.
12:51 p.m. Raffaele calls 112. They ask him to call back later.
12:54 p.m. Raffaele calls 112 and reports a possible robbery at the girlโ€™s apartment.
(The prosecution insists Raffaele did not call the police (#112) until after the postal police officers arrived. They make a big deal of this trivia. How could the officers think, Raffaele called 112 and talked to the police, at the same time he was talking to the officers)?

POSTAL POLICE ARRIVE IN THE PARKING LOT
Around 12:35 p.m. They had not been notified about Raffaele reporting a possible break in at the residence. After arriving in the parking lot The officers radio headquarters to report their arrival and that they are going to exit the car (standard practice). The officers gather up their things prior to getting out of the car. They walk to the apartment building and try to find the correct apartment. The girlโ€™s apartment is on the upper floor so they go to the door of the lower apartment first. This turns out to be the wrong apartment so they walk to the upper level apartment door. It took them over 15 minutes to get to the girls apartment door.

The officers find Amanda and Raffaele are sitting on the porch waiting for the police to arrive. Amanda and Raffaele thought it was strange the police arrived so fast. Raffale had only called the police a few minutes earlier. This surprised them.
The two men identify their selves as postal police officers. The officers said they were trying to find Filomena, because they had two cell phones and one of the phone numbers belongs to Filomena. Amanda told the officers she thinks the phones are Meredith’s and one of the phones, Meredith had borrowed from their room mate, Filomena.
(The officers donโ€™t know the exact time they arrived at the door, currently itโ€˜s only about the cell phones and time wasnโ€˜t important. It may have been 1:05 p.m. when they arrived at the door. How could Judge Micheli reason Raffaele called the police at the same time he was talking to the two officers and use this as an excuse to try them for involvement in the crime?)

Amanda and Raffaele told the officers about all the strange things they had found. The apartment entry door that Amanda found open that morning when she got home, the broken window, the blood in the bathroom, Meredithโ€™s door being locked, feces in the toiled that is now gone and that they were worried about Meredith. Amanda and Raffaele brought the officers into the house to show the officers what they saw. Amanda showed the officers that the door was locked to Meredithโ€˜s room and the broken window in Filomenaโ€˜s room.
(obviously they would not have told the police about the blood and broken window if they were trying to hide something. Itโ€˜s not that the authorities think we are this stupid, but they think they can do as they please)

(From Amanda’s interrogation by Giuliano Mignini on Dec. 17, 2008)
Raffaele was thinking that the only thing to do now was break down Meredith’s door. Raffaele told the officers he had tried, but he could not break open Meredithโ€˜s door. Raffaele ask the police to break open the door to Meredithโ€˜s bedroom. The police officers refused to violate privacy by breaking a door open but later at around 1:15 PM they agreed to allow Luca Altieri (Paola’s boyfriend) kick open the door.
    .

    ROOM MATES ARRIVE
1:00 p.m. (Around or maybe a little before 1:00 P M ) Filomena and Paola arrived at the girls apartment and entered the apartment to meet with, Luca Alteri (Paola’s boyfriend) and Marco (Filomena’s boyfriend) who had arrived earlier. The two postal police officers are there also. Amanda and Raffaele were in Amanda’s room when they arrived. Amanda and Raffaele came out into the corridor to talk with them. The police were asking to break open the door to Meredithโ€™s room. The officers said they could not so they decided to do it and the officers agreed.
(After arriving at the girlโ€™s apartment, Filomena entered her room three times before Meredithโ€™s door was kicked open. She could have knocked glass onto her clothes in the floor)

    DOOR KICKED OPEN, BODY DISCOVERED
Around 1:15 p.m.? Luca (Paola’s boyfriend) gave the door four hard kicks and it flew opened. The room was dark but a foot could be seen protruding from the comforter covering Meredithโ€˜s body. Filomena scream “a foot! a foot!”.

Amanda was in the kitchen with Raffaele when the door was kicked open. She did not understand exactly what was going on. She heard โ€œa foot, a footโ€œ and thought there was a foot found in Meredithโ€™s room. Amanda is in shock. Amanda immediately tried to go to Meredith’s room, but Raffaele grabbed her and took her out of the apartment building. The rest of the people were all grouped around the door, next to or in back of Luca when the door was kicked open. (from the Dec. 17 interrogation).

A postal police officer entered Meredithโ€™s room. The postal police officers told everyone to get out . The postal police officers pushed the people outside the apartment building. There were some police officers arriving outside by this time also.

Time? After the crime police arrive, soon more police investigators arrived. The investigators are taking all their information and asked the same questions over and over. At the time it was freezing cold outside.

(At some point, Filomena identified the body for the police, since the cryptic reports said a room mate identified the body and Amanda did not identify the body).

    ALL PEOPLE LEAVE EXCEPT POLICE
Later everyone went to the police station to give statements and remained until the wee hours of the night.

Little did Raffaele or Amanda know, but the police were already looking at them with suspicion. Even those at the apartment were already studying them with critical eyes.
(The prosecution took issue with people not knowing the exact times they made calls after checking call records. They accused Raffaele of not calling 112 until after the postal police arrived. Also police took issue with much more trivia, twisted trivia, twisted truth, leaked false reports to the press or the reporters fabricated the leaked information, Some false leaks were proved to be fabricated by the press, intentionally misinterpreted physical evidence, brutally interrogated Amanda and Raffaele , exaggerated, speculated a preposterous theory, and much much more petty rubbish, so much I cant recall all of it, this is insane)

    WASHING MACHINE MYSTERY
    The police said upon arriving, ~ 13:00 PM, at the girl’s apartment;
A washing machine was running somewhere in the house when they entered and, while they were standing there, the machine stopped
Rudy had cleaned away the victims feces and urine with cloth, before raping the corpse. Likely at this time he used Meredithโ€™s clothes to clean with.

Afterwards/prior to leaving, he attempted to clean away his DNA from the victims body, especially the areas around the reproductive organs. Likely he used soaped towels at this time.

He put the towels he used to do this, along with Meredithโ€™s soiled clothes, in the washing machine with soap and bleach, then started the machine.

If the washing machine run and stopped when the officers arrived or, timer position is known and, it’s also know the exact time the washing machine was found running then an approximate time Rudy left the girl’s apartment can be estimated. I doubt the necessary information was recorded by the postal police officers because when they arrived, they were only concerned about the cell phones).

I have no doubt Rudy was hiding in the girl’s apartment when Amanda left the girl’s apartment.

Itโ€™s likely Rudy almost bumped into Amanda and Raffaele as he was leaving, as they were walking to the girlโ€˜s apartment.

    The following are approximate times;
    11:30, Amanda left girlโ€™s apartment
    12:00,
12:35, Officers arrive in parking lot.
13:00, Officers arrived at apartment door, washing machine running.

  20. No Americanโ€” no human being of any nationalityโ€” should be wrongfully convicted. Amanda and Raffaele are innocent. Many articles were printed over the past two years that are filled with misinformation. Look past false prejudices. Please take time to look at the actual facts of this case. Meredith Kercher and her family deserve justice. Imprisoning two innocent people brings neither peace nor justice for Meredith.
