This Thursday, Cartoon Network's Adult Swim is transforming CenturyLink Field into a drive-in that will present new and unaired pilots and specials. Though I have nothing against Adult Swim, I'm completely opposed to anything that glorifies or celebrates car culture. What I feel to my bones is that the war on cars is real and should be fought not in the bushes but out in the open where everyone can see. Cars are the greatest enemy of the city and the shovel by which humans are burying themselves. Using a car to watch a movie was obscene in the age of the suburbs and is madness in the age of climate change. If you must go to this event, use Link, which has a station near the stadiums, and your feet.
