Harmony Korine’s third feature film has a nun falling out of a
plane, Werner Herzog playing a priest in a tropical country, a
young man impersonating a Dangerous-era Michael Jackson on the
streets of Paris, and a commune of celebrity impersonators who
are trying to live as far away from reality as they can. The movie is
great, and Samantha Morton (a Marilyn Monroe impersonator) delivers the
most magical performance of her career. (Northwest Film Forum, 1515
12th Ave, 329-2629. 4:30, 7, and 9:15 pm. Through Thurs May 22.)
