The new trailer for Netflix’s darkly humorous series about women experiencing life in a minimum-security federal prison (based on Piper Kerman’s memoir, Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison, although at this point, pretty loosely) shows the story picking up right where it left off: with most of the women in full-scale riot mode and Daya pointing a gun at a guard’s head, trying to decide whether or not to shoot while her fellow inmates scream for her to pull the trigger. It’s actually a one-minute preview of the first episode in the fifth season, which kicks off on June 9. Check it out below.
