Description: Located near Qwest Field in Pioneer Square, Sluggers is the skinniest bar you've ever seen (the space it occupies used to be an alleyway).
Decor: A dense plastering of sports-broadcasting TVs and trillions of collectibles, most of them baseball-related.
How pro-baseball stars are different from us: They're all so lithe and cocksure (as evidenced by Sluggers' photo collection).
How pro-baseball stars are just like us: They take drugs for fun. (Dock Ellis threw a no-hitter while under the influence of LSD and amphetamines.) They use bullshit excuses to call in sick. (Chris Brown missed a game on the grounds that he'd strained his eyelid in his sleep.) They occasionally lapse into dementia. (While in the midst of a nightmare that he was crawling with spiders, Glenallen Hill crashed into a glass table and fell down the stairs.)
